Chapter 10

I awake from the rays of sunlight peeking through the window. I start to panic as I realized I was in a room. My hands and legs were roped around a chair and my mouth was sealed shut with duck tape. Though the window was completely covered with wood, there was a peek of sunlight aiming right at my right eye. I'm living through a scene that would normally happen in a movie. But this was real because now i'm living though it. How bizarre, I thought to myself.

I stopped trying to remember how I ended up her when suddenly I hear the creek of a door opening. My fragile skin started to tense up with shivers from my head to my toes. I was scared for my life.

The man who came to an appearance, was someone I recognized in that instant. Someone I thought I'd never have to see again. Someone who wouldn't let me go. Someone who would never leave me alone. My ex boyfriend, Nick.

"Surprise!" he said in a excited tone.

I looked at him with wide eyes. I wasn't shocked that he would do this. I dated him a year ago but we only lasted 3 months. He got too attached to me and wouldn't want to leave me alone. His affection towards me kept growing. I had to file a report on him because he became my stalker. After that, I thought he had forgotten about me but I guess I was wrong.

Nick then removed the tape off my mouth.

"Why are you doing this to me, leave me alone!"

"Actually, I had to do this. You are so complicated to understand you know?" He grinned.

"After you filed that report on me, I felt betrayed by you. I thought you actually loved me. Why would you do this to me? You were the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with but you left me and that's not the way it's going to work. I recently found out that your engaged to that Jake dude. It's funny because that's not the way out of this. You are mine and only mine! You're never going to be his or anybody's. Only mine, you got that? i don't care if you love each other. I can give a fuck less. I'm never going to let you go. This was the only was of reaching out to you. From here on, you're no longer engaged to that idiot. You're mine and there isn't anything he can do to stop this."

"I'm not yours and i'll never ever ever be yours. Get that straight Nick. I don''t love you and if you think i'm scared of you, the you're dead wrong. There is nothing you can that will make me do what ever you say. Nothing."

"Hahaha, typical Kaitlyn. Hard to get, like always. I wonder what that bastard had to do in order to get you to be his 'soon to be wife', he said as we started serving himself a cup of vodka.

"That' none of your business."

"You're right, it in't so lets just leave it here because your now mine an there isn't anything he can do to stop me."

Nick began to get closer to me to me and began to start touching ever inch of my body. At this point, I felt like I was in bi trouble.

(Jake's POV)

"Find her now!" I sapped to all the officers working in the police station.

"Sir, we are doing everything we possibly can."

"Unbelievable! guess I'll just have to find her myself."

Knocking the door open, a police officer comes in saying, "Sir, we located where she is. Your phone helped us locate her. We found her sir"

I snatched my phone back and speed walked out of the building.

I ran to my car and started the engine.

I tried to hurry up before it's too late.
