Arranged Marriage to Mr.CEO

Chapter 13

My parents dropped me off at Jake's. I spend majority of my time at their house that I began to start feeling homesick. You know, sometimes I feel like if this marriage thing wouldn't have happened, I wouldn't have gotten close to my family. I smiled at the thought. I was starting to get really hungry again and when I'm hungry, nothing good comes out of it. Lets just say, I live on food. Its my life, my best friend and the only thing I can count on when I'm feeling down. I walked up to the kitchen and opened the fridge. Nothing. Great. Just my luck. Jake doesn't have anything good in here. Like seriously? all he had was a couple of vegetables. I absolutely hate vegetables with all my heart. Starting with broccoli. I remember in 3rd grade,  my teacher forced us all to eat broccoli and since then.. Well I hate broccoli. ((: Literally everything about broccoli pisses me off. The disgusting taste of nature and the aftertaste. Legit man, broccoli tastes like nature. It even looks like a tree! The broccoli was just there mocking my empty stomach. I just forgot about it and ordered pizza. Pepperoni pizza! My lifesaver. Pizza is basically my life. I hate hate hate those fancy restaurants that serve those expensive plates that only contain a piece of leaf. Sounds insane right? I know. I hate that stuff. Low-key, when my parents would take us to fancy places like that, I would  eat the food but right after, I'd always walk home and go to my favorite pizza place. I always finished a whole box just by myself. (: The door bell rang and I cut my thought off as I walked to the door hoping it would be the delivery guy. I peeked out of the peek hole and saw my brother. 

"Hey man, What brings you here this late at night?"

"Hello! I just wanted to spend some time with my sister (:"

"Who are you and what did you do to my brother?" I smirked.

 "I'm serious, I just want it to be like the good old times like when we were little."

"That would be nice! Now sit down and play some netflix. the pizza should be here any-"

Ring Ring the door bell rang.

"There it is. (:"

My brother wanted to pay the pizza so why the heck not? he's the best brother ever. He knows my addiction with pizza so yeah, I've got it easy. We sat down on the couch and watched One tree hill! season 1 and on the last episode. This is getting really intense. I secretly have a crush on Nathan and i began to cry because he is literally the most amazing boyfriend ever. I ship it so hard, Haiely and him are my relationship goals. i'll never get over the fact that he will never be mine. At this point I was sobbing. Garrett looked at me and started laughing. 

"Oh shut up!"

"Are you really crying over this?"

"I'm crying because I have a crush on Nathan and now I can't have him. He's off the market Garrett! Catch up," I giggled while trying to calm down. Gosh I'm a mess when it comes to One tree hill. 

"Well guess what?"

"what?" I turned to face him. 

"You have Jake (:"

"but I wanted Nathan. I'm i love with Nathan," I giggled. 

"He's a character in a show. Jake is real and you know what?"

"What?"

"He can be a jackass but I know that one day, you'll love him as much as you love Nathan or even more," he smirked.

I looked at him and began to hysterically laugh, "hahahahaah Never." 

He laughed along with me.

"Look, I know this is all new to you but believe me, I know he will make you happy. I talked to him the other day and we talked about this whole marriage thing. Lets just say, it's new for the both of you o why not give it a chance?"

"Are you kidding? I barely know the dude and next thing I Know, I'm engaged to him. I have high expectations and he will never reach them."

"If  that nick asshole did, then so can he."

I stayed quiet. 

"Sorry, I didn't mean to bring him up."

"It's fine, that's in the past."

He nodded.

"Look, Jake seems like a nice dude but he's a jackass. He's a player and I know that after we both say "I do" in the aisle, everything will be the same. We'll walk that aisle feeling nothing but what we felt the first day we found out we were getting married. Nothing good comes out of this."

"Look Kaitlyn, I know he isn't a player. That's a fact. Don't start jumping into conclusions so fast okay? give the man a chance. He is a gentleman, if he wasn't I wouldn't allow this wedding whatsoever. I know that this is all something new but hey, we have to take risks in life. Jake doesn't date much, he told me."

"he told you?"

"Yeah, I had to ask him, I have to know who my little sister is getting married to. Believe me, he isn't anything you think he is. You'll be surprised when you get to know the real him. You know, you too are much the same."

I giggled. 

"hey can I tell you something?"

"yeah, what's up?"

"Well, this morning, I woke up around 2 because I needed to pee. I woke Jake up and told him to come  with me. So we go and he waited for me and believe it or not, I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked horrible. I was bruised everywhere and so I broke down crying. Apparently Jake heard me and came inside to comfort me. He complimented me and what not, but it was weird because he had his arms wrapped around me. I looked up at him and he looked at me and we kinda both leaned in, if you know what I mean." 

"Whoa," he giggled.

"That's not all. Once I broke that awkward staring moment, we headed back and on our way there, we saw a couple and they stopped to compliment how 'cute' we looked together. The old man told Jake to never let me go and Jake replied with "Never."It was so weird and stuff. I don't know man."

"Little sis, I'm telling you.. Maybe this will all fall into place. You'll eventually fall for each other," he smirked.

"Ha-ha not even in your dreams dude. Plus i'm low key in love with Channing tatum!" I giggled.

"What about that dude from one tree hill? that Nathan dude!"

"Oh yeah! him too!" (;

"Just stick with Jake," he giggled.

"Nope. He's not an option."

"He's your only option!" 

We started to giggle and play around.

"Alright, well I should get going because I told Nataly I'd be home before 10 and it's already 9:55"

"Oh yeah! tell her I said hey man!"

"Sure, and are you going to be okay? do you want me to spend the night and leave until Jake returns?"

"Naw, I'll be Okay."

"Okay, text me if you need anything okay?"

"Yes sir."

"Okay bye little sis I love you."

"I hate you too (:" 

We giggled and hugged before he left. Today was an amazing day, I got to spend most of my day with my family and the rest with my brother who I truly love so much. He's such an idiot though. I missed these spending time with my brother. I walked down to the living room again and jumped star position on the couch. I wasn't tired much so I kept watching Netflix. This time I was watching American Horror Story. Gosh I love Evan peters I said to myself. This show was funny, stupid, scary, and weird in a good way. I was on the Freak Show season which I'll admit is pretty scary. I brought my blanket closer to my face as the scene started getting freaky. This is pretty intense. I opend yet another bag of chips and began eating them. The spicy and tasty flaming fumes came from the hot cheetos I was eating. Yassssss my fav. 

I'm such a sloppy flop I thought to myself as I started getting tired. I yawned and lay down, my eyes began to get really heavy. By the time that episode ended, I fell asleep the way I eat pizza.. Slowly then all at once. . .
