Onboard the USS Bunker Hill

The diplomatic mission onboard the patrol boat came onboard and introduced themselves.

"I am Louis Allard, a representative of the Holy Milishial Empire. Who are you?"

"I am Saul Goodman, and i represent the United States of America."

"I am Kazimir Sokolov, and i represent the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics."

"Did you recently appear here through unknown means?"

"Both of our nations appeared in this world without explanation."
Sokolov said.

"Well then. You seem to be what we were searching for."

Louis Allard went back aboard the patrol vessel. There, he contacted his higher ups,
from which he received permission to let the USS Aleigh Burke into the Harbour.

On the bridge

"Two unknown radar contacts at 4 o'clock, range: 4 kilometres."
A radar operator called out. He

"Attempt to establish radio contact."
The captain commanded.

"Unknown aircraft, identify yourself now!"

No response.

"Changing frequency."

"Unknown aircraft, identify yourself now!"

"You *static* enemy of *static* as Empire *static* you are *static* violating imperia *static* ritory *static* you will peri- *static*

"Hostile intent identified. Shoot em down."

The two aircraft, which were now visible to the naked eye, were splitting up, with one flying towards the USS Bunker Hill and the other one towards the Kynda class missile cruiser, and both starting to dive.

Two bursts of fire from the Phalanx CIWS could be heard.

BRRRRRRRRT!
The first burst of fire hit the plane approaching the Kynda class missile cruiser.
The plane disintegrated into wooden debris almost immediately, which splashed into the water near the missile cruiser.

BRRRRRRRRT!

The second burst hit the plane approaching the USS Bunker Hill. The front of the plane and it's engine ceased to exist. The wings broke off the body, and the body itself nosedived into the ocean.

Louis was perplexed by how fast and precise the anti-aircraft gun of the USS Bunker Hill hit its targets, and afraid of how effective it was. Normally, anti aircraft guns would destroy the wings or the engine of an aircraft, whereas this one literally disintegrated its targets.

He climbed back onboard the USS Bunker Hill, and told the crew they could enter the harbour.

"Just what do these "Americans" and "Soviets" with the time needed to create such weapons?"

He thought to himself, as the USS Bunker Hill slowly made its way into the harbour.

"Why is there only a single large calibre gun on this vessel? What are those tubes on the other vessel for? Why does this vessel also have these tubes, but smaller? What are these spinning objects on both of the vessels?"

With his head full of question after question, he watched as the American vessel entered the harbour.

A welcome committee was waiting in the harbour, hastily assembled after the USS Bunker Hill was spotted.

"At least they have the decency to not feel superior to us and visit us first. Even though their anti aircraft guns seem better, that doesn't mean they are technically superior to us. That isn't possible."
