I want to rewrite the currently existing chapters slightly, so that they are more coherent and make more sense. Chapter 11 will not suffer in quality. The overall story won't change much, but the quality of the telling itself will.

The Soviets will acquire some advanced Flanker variants: the Flanker-C (Su-30 base version), Flanker-D (Su-33 under the name Su-27K), and Su-34,) since it flew first in 1990). They will enter service around 1992 (Su-30)/1994 (Su-33/34).

Also, various 80s/ early 90s projects are going to be reaching IOC through to the mid 90s, like for example: the AIM-152 AAAM (Phoenix replacement), Kh-35 (Soviet Harpoon style AShCM), TOW-2N (essentially just a TOW-2 with wire guidance replaced by radio data link), AGM-137 TSSAM (Predecessor to JASSM), M1A1 upgrade with the Rockwell Multisensor Target Acquisition System and the Vehicle Integrated Defense System, R-77-1 and Kh-80 for the USSR, MIM-146 ADATS and ASALM (under the designations AGM-115 for the air launched cruise missile version, RIM-115 for the surface to air missile version, BGM-115 for the ship/ground launched version, and AIM-115 as the air to air version) in 1991 for the US. The US will also start procuring FOG-M under the designation MGM-144 in 1991.

Sorry for disappointing you yet again, I apologise. I hope these following images make it more bearable.
