Akito: "So you said you and your group were heading to Chairman Bana, right? Mind if I ask what it's all about?"

After bumping into the Gormotti girl named Nia, Akito had agreed to lead her towards Chairman Bana's office where her supposed group were heading towards before she got separated from them. So now the two were walking side by side, with mainly Nia just following wherever the dark-haired male goes, like an actual pet cat, ironically enough.

Nia: "Hm? Well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to say, though be mindful I can't tell you everything."

Akito: "All good." He gave a thumbs up.

Nia: "Well... We were preparing for this big salvaging expedition. But since none of us are experts in salvaging, our boss thought it would be a good idea to hire some elites for the job and happens that the Chairman had the perfect guy for the job."

Akito took in the information she relayed to him and began to process it. Stroking his chin with his bandaged left hand, he thought carefully about her words.

Akito's thoughts: "Salvaging huh... If Chairman Bana said he had the perfect guy, he must mean Rex, right? Hmm... While I can tell she's being honest, something doesn't sit right with me about this... Maybe I should tag along, just in case. It would at least put Azurda's worries to rest."

The male would then come out of his thoughts as he decided to respond to Nia now.

Akito: "I see. Well, I hope it goes smoothly for you." He spoke.

However, he was a bit confused when he didn't receive an answer. So, he looked to his right where Nia was originally walking, only to see her... gone? Blinking in surprise, he stopped himself and turned around before immediately spotting the short feline female, who seemed to have been entranced by something. Slowly, Akito strolled over to the Gormotti's side and looked at what she was looking at. It was a shop, but through the display window was a silver bracelet that had a lion's head on it.

Akito: "Huh, so you like jewelry huh?"

Nia: "H-Huh??" She was snapped out of her state and looked at him. "W-What kind of woman doesn't like jewelry, hmm?"

Akito: "I wasn't judging you..." He deadpanned before facepalming. "Anyways, you've been eying that for some time. Why not buy it?"

Nia: "Ah... Well... T-The thing is..."

Akito blinked and stared at her, watching as the silver-haired female fidgeted while playing with a strand of her hair, her ears flattening in the process as well. Catching on, Akito sighed but decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. While the feline female was too busy trying to come up with an excuse, Akito had already gone into the store. And only a couple of minutes later, he returned to Nia and held up the bracelet in front of her face.

Akito: "Here ya go."

Nia: "H-Huh!? You actually bought it!? Wasn't it expensive??"

Akito: "Hmm? I mean it did cost quite a bit, but eh, I don't really need the money." Nia blinked rapidly at him, while constantly switching between looking at the bracelet and him. "Really, I don't mind. You can have it. And adding onto what you said earlier, I think I can help you and your group out with the Salvaging."
