Jieun POV

I arrived at school and parked Jeonghan's motorcycle, earning a few stares from people. I guess it's odd for them to see a girl on a motorcycle. I remembered I had Mr. Choi's class, which means I get to spend an hour or more with Wonwoo! And of course, Mingyu. I quickly walked to the classroom and waited for them to show up, which they eventually did.

"Hey!" we all said at the same time. We laughed a bit and Wonwoo walked in to notify the teacher that we were heading to the school's studio. Suddenly, Minho appeared. "Jieun-ah! Good to see you again. You coming in?" Huh? Jieun-ah? I mean, that's a bit rude. It's not like we're friends. "No, I'm not," I replied. "Why?" Minho looked at me in confusion. "Hum, because I'm working on the project outside of the classroom?"

"Oh, okay," he replied. Wonwoo came back, walking past Minho. "It's all good; we can go," he said, putting his hands around my shoulder, and began to walk along with Mingyu. But Minho suddenly took my arm, causing us to turn around. "Yah, Jieun-ah, I was wondering-" Wonwoo cut him off. "Are you guys friends?" he asked, looking at me and then at Minho.

I shook my head. "No, we're not."

"Bro I don't think you should call her like this. Maybe be a bit more formal, as you guys ar-" But Minho interrupted Wonwoo. "I'm sorry, who are you? I think I can address her how I want," he spat.

Mingyu and I looked at each other and immediately understood what was going to happen. So, I put myself between the two males. "Okay, okay, let's NOT fight over such ridiculous things, guys. Minho, I'm sure you can understand that it's a bit odd to call someone so informally when we've only talked twice...right?" He nodded. "Yeah, whatever. I'm sorry."

I sighed and looked at Wonwoo. "Don't worry about this; it's really nothing. Let's just go." He stared into my eyes, sighed, then turned around and went to Mingyu, who was a few steps away. I turned to Minho again. "Minho, I'm gonna ask you not to pick fights with my...friends, please. I have to go now, but yeah, good luck with your project." I was beginning to walk away, but he took my arm again.

"I'm really sorry, Jieun. It wasn't my intention, I swear." I softly put my arm away from his hand and smiled. "It's okay, everybody makes mistakes. Bye, Minho." I waved and quickly ran to my partners, as Wonwoo looked back and put his hand around my shoulder once again.

We arrived at the studio and took our seats. I found myself sitting between Mingyu on my left and Wonwoo on my right. The silence started to feel a bit awkward, prompting Mingyu to clear his throat and sit up straight. "So, does anyone have any ideas about what we're going to do?" he asked.

I shook my head. "Not really, except for the obvious fact that we have to write and record a song..." Wonwoo chimed in, "Let's start by discussing who's doing what, alright?" Mingyu settled back into his seat, and we all agreed, ready to brainstorm.

TIMESKIP

"Okay, great then!" Wonwoo exclaimed. "Jieun is going to write the lyrics, with our help, of course. I'll be in charge of filming the MV, and Mingyu will co-produce the video." Turning to Mingyu, I asked, "So, Mingyu, have you ever produced anything before?" as I picked up a box of strawberries. Mingyu nodded and said, "Yeah, me, Wonwoo, and our friends recorded a video for a song we wrote."

My eyes widened with excitement. "You guys wrote a song?!" I asked incredulously. "It's not like we're a boy band or anything, but yeah, we did," Wonwoo replied, chuckling. I sat up eagerly and said, "I wanna see it." They exchanged glances and shook their heads. "Nuh uh, sorry Jieun, but no," Wonwoo said, looking at me.

"Oh, come on, don't be shy! If you guys show it to me, I'll show you one of my covers," I teased. Mingyu looked at me with a devilish grin and said, "Deal."

I excitedly clapped my hands and jumped around, humming about winning a free music video revelation. Suddenly, Wonwoo pulled me close by the waist, making me sit down. "Calm down, Jieun. You might throw up all the strawberries you ate," he said in a teasing voice. That funny feeling stirred again.

I glanced into his eyes and noticed he wasn't wearing his glasses, which made him ten times more attractive. My cheeks flushed, so I quickly looked away and saw Mingyu handing me his phone with a video titled "SnapShoot MV – SEVENTEEN."

I tapped the play button and bopped my head to the beat of the song. Then suddenly, the familiar face of my cousin appeared on the screen. "What the..." I said to myself, watching Jeonghan on the screen. So this is what he'd been doing all those times I had to cover his shifts.

Smiling, I turned to Wonwoo and Mingyu. "That's really good! And it's self-made! I'm really impressed, Mingyu. I didn't know you had so much talent," I praised, cheering a bit for him.

"And Wonwoo, you looked really cool! Your rap skills are great," I added, feeling my heart race as I softly looked at my crush, who was now smiling like a kid. He put his arm behind his neck in embarrassment. "Thanks, Jieun. I'm not as talented as Mingyu, but thank you," he said.

I playfully hit his arm. "Yah, don't say that. Each of you is talented in your own way! No one is better than the other," I said. They both thanked me and looked at me with puppy eyes. Oh, right, I promised to show them one of my covers. I took out my phone and handed it to Mingyu as Wonwoo leaned over me to get closer to the screen. I played my cover of "STAY" by BLACKPINK.

While the sound of my voice faded, I looked at Wonwoo's face through the reflection on the screen. He looked very concentrated in the video and didn't notice me staring, so I kept doing it. He's just perfect.

Wonwoo POV

Jieun's voice is so calm and soft, I really like it. I hope she can make her own appearance in our song. A talent like that shouldn't stay in her recordings. I'm not the kind to praise people for something they didn't do, but right now, I can say it: she's amazing. As my attention shifted away from her voice, I looked at Jieun and smiled, nodding proudly to her. It's my way of saying she did a good job, and she smiled back.

Cute.
