||MEETING YOU 100 YEARS LATER || (Cheongmyeong x OC) Mount Hua Sect

Chapter 4

Yi Hwa's POV:

"OPEN THE GATE! RIGHT NOW!" BANG BANG BANG BANG...CRASH!!!

What's the noise? I sleepily opened my eyes and walked out. The first thing I saw was Cheongmyeong snooping on the tree on top. Nothing surprising there.

"BRING ME THE SECT LEADER! WE WAITED AS LONG AS WE POSSIBLY COULD! WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF PATIENCE! WHEN WILL YOU PAY US BACK?!"

HUH?? Not only is Mount Hua on the brink of destruction but they're in debt too???? Oh well. Cheongmyeong will figure this out. I'm going back to sleep... Just as I was about to go back to my room, someone grabbed me by the hand out the door and hid behind the people that barged in.

"HEY! WHAT GIVES-"

"SHHHHH!!!" said Cheongmyeong and he looked intently at the sect leader. Why does he want me here anyways? Jeez, this is giving me a headache. But I am kinda curious...

"QUIT STALLING! YOU KNOW WHY WE'RE HERE!" The boss of their group yelled. I covered my ears. Damn it, why do my ears have to be sensitive even in this new body?! Just my luck... I looked beside me to see Cheongmyeong staring at me. I quickly took my hands out of my ears and looked away. Great, now I'm an even bigger weirdo to him! I focused back on the conversation at hand. I think the boss of this group is Munyeon Gong, proprietor of Taehwa Pavilion. He used to come to our house once in a while for business or something.

"Sect leader, I beg you to consider their circumstances as well. After all, we've long passed the promised date, have we not? We've taken a sympathetic view of Mount Hua on numerous occasions..." I tuned myself out after. HICC! A sound from close to my ear sounded to bring me back to the task at hand. Everyone turned around to see me and Cheongmyeong watching them. Great. He just HAD to ruin our cover. I grabbed him by the hand, bowed deeply to the elders, apologised and quickly dragged him away too.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!?! WE ALMOST GOT INTO SO MUCH TROUBLE!"

"Uhhh, can you let go of my hand? You're grabbing it too hard" I looked down to see that I was still holding his hand. Very aggressively too. Not that I care what happens to him though. I let go before starting again.

"PLUS, WHY DID YOU EVEN DRAG ME WITH YOU? I WAS HAVING A PEACEFUL SLEEP-" He covered my mouth with his hand, stopping me from talking. I was too surprised to do anything and he walked away. Huh??

"I'm asking some of the others who they were. You coming?"

"..." I already know who they are but I've decided to not tell him anymore hmph "Alright."

Cheongmyeong's POV:

"OPEN THE GATE! RIGHT NOW!" BANG BANG BANG BANG...CRASH!!!" My nap was ruined by some screaming hooligans. I oughtta teach them a lesson later! I looked down to see a group of people barging in through the gate. I also noticed Yi Hwa groggily looking their way before turning around. Before I even knew what I was doing, I jumped down, and quickly grabbed her wrist and led us to hide behind the crowd. I didn't want any witnesses to rat me out to the sect leader. Especially the only one I couldn't beat up.

"HEY! WHAT GIVES-"

"SHHHHH!!!" I said quickly. She just looked at me like I was crazy and just watched.

"QUIT STALLING! YOU KNOW WHY WE'RE HERE!" One of them shouted. I looked beside me to see her covering her ears like she was in pain. She glanced at me and quickly lowered her hands and looked away once she saw me staring at her. Is she embarrassed? Kinda cute. A while later while they were discussing their debt, I just had to hiccup out of nowhere. HICC! They looked at me and Yi Hwa for a split second just as she grabbed my hand and dragged us out of them. Her hold was so tight that I could feel her heartbeat in my hand.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!?! WE ALMOST GOT INTO SO MUCH TROUBLE!" She screamed. She reminded me so much of the Hwa from 100 years ago. Kinda miss her screaming at me even though I felt dumb everytime she did it...

"Uhhh, can you let go of my hand? You're grabbing it too hard" she looked down and released me, looking flustered.

"PLUS, WHY DID YOU EVEN DRAG ME WITH YOU? I HAD A PEACEFUL SLEEP-" I covered her mouth with his hand to stop her from talking before I could get enveloped by the sense of longing. I walked away in embarrassment to my room.

"I'm asking some of the others who they were. You coming?" I said without looking back while my face grew warm. She didn't respond for like 5 seconds before "Alright." She quickly followed me after that.
