Summer Vacation

In the Pool

Me: aw yeah! I finally posted Chapter 4! This is the greatest chapter ever!
Dawn: why?
Me: because Ash a- wait, better not spoil it for the readers!
Dawn: aw, I wanted to find out!
Ash: what do I do?
Me: something beautiful!
Ash: this girl is crazy.
Drew and May: man, are we late again?!
Me: time for a sigh... *sigh* just about to start.
Brock: where's P-
Me: Paul's in the corner over there and where did you come from?!
Brock: uh, I actually don't know
Me: there is no time to waste! Read the story now and have a corn! 🌽

"Cannonball!" Ash screamed before curling up into a ball mid-air and landing in the cool water. May screeched as she desperately tried to shield herself from the splash. Misty smiled. She sat on the edge of the pool with her feet dangling over the edge. Ash innocently swan over to her and stuck his hand out.
"Can ya help me up?" He asked. Misty stifled a laugh.
"Like I'm gonna fall for that old trick."
"Mist, c'mon, this is you we're talking about, like I would do that," his big brown eyes looked up at her. 'Come on Misty, resist!' She told herself. His bottom lip started to quiver, 'no, no! Not the puppy dog face! I can't resist it! No, stay strong! But, aw! He looks so cute!' She soon found herself grabbing his hand and hauling him up.
"Thanks!" He smiled. She didn't let go of his hand "Mist, I'm up you can let go," she suddenly became aware and dropped his hand. She still stood there, his adorable puppy face burnt into her brain. Then, she didn't know what hit her. One second she was standing at the edge of the pool and the next she was in it. She looked up and saw Ash grinning like an idiot. The situation sank in and she realised he pushed her. She stuck her tongue out and swam away. There was a splash and the water shifted. She was suddenly grabbed by the waist and dragged under water. She took a gulp of air before going under. She was met by the face of a handsome young man, Ash. He smiled a toothy, lopsided grin and waved. She smiled and waved back. Before she knew what was happening, Ash had pushed her head closer to his, wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her. It was gently at first, light and sweet, they quickly deepened the kiss but was interrupted by another splash in the water. They quickly separated and came up for a breath. Ash smiled at Misty again, as if nothing had happened, Misty, even in the coolness of the pool was burning up. They both turned to the brunette who had caught a glimpse of what happened. She squealed happily and shook Misty.
"Did that really just happen?!" She asked excitedly. Misty blushed. She watched Ash get out of the pool and dry his hair. Thank goodness he was wearing a sun-shirt or she would have been watching him like a pidgeotto watches a caterpie.

At dinner everyone was silent, Misty was busy thinking about the 'incident' at the pool, Ash was eating, May was way too excited for Misty to even squeak, Drew was thinking about what happened at breakfast, Paul doesn't speak in general, Dawn didn't feel it was the right time start a conversation and Brock was reading his book.
"Uh, so," Dawn finally piped up "you and Ash were under the water for a long time," Dawn looked over at Misty "you okay?" Ash opened his mouth but Misty slammed her hand over it.
"I'll tell you later." She said hurriedly. Drew raised an eyebrow and Ash shrugged. Silence fell over them once again.

Everyone was preparing for bed. The girls were already asleep, wait, let me rephrase that, the girls were already in their beds but they probably weren't going to sleep until later. Drew had decided to take a long time in the bathroom. At least this time both rooms had a bathroom each. As Drew walked into the bathroom Ash decided he would play a little trick on him. Since Ash let him have the bed, he had a plan. He grabbed a jar of honey and carefully carried it to the bed. Brock and Paul had gone to grab the supplies for tomorrow's 'event'. Only the two knew what it was. Ash carefully spread the honey under the sheets and laughed an evil laugh as he neatly set the blankets down.
"I'm going to bed now!" Ash called.
"Yup!" Drew replied. Ash grinned and slipped onto the couch, waiting for his plan to spring into action.

Me: yay! What did you guys think? Pretty good huh?
Ash: oh, yes *smirks at Drew*
Misty: *blushes* yeah...
Me: okay, make sure you stay tuned to find out what the 'event' is!
Dawn: make sure you comment! She will take constructive criticism but please, nothing mean.
