Me: *ahem* sorry. Okay, welcome back!! I hope you've enjoyed your time away from this book because guess what- it's back!!

Me: now, now, hold on before you get your nuts in a knot (I guess that only works if you're a dude... *shrug* would love to give my math teacher credit for that joke tho) this is not that last chapter
Brock: it's not??
Me: I repeat, this is not the last chapter
May: it's not!!!
Me: now, we have a question (for once) from @oldsonggirl it reads *clears throat* Drew, if you ever ever had to play seven minutes in heaven with May, inside a closet, would you make out a lot or a little?
Drew: uh! *blushes*
May: *blushes*
Drew: I mean, I dunno, a little I guess?? Maybe a bit more.. I mean, I full on make out session kinda kills a lot of Romance, if you ask me...
May: *still blushes*
Me: okay-dokey, well, let's get this chapter started! Oh, and just a heads up, I'm writing this at like, 3:15 in the morning so like, bare with me, okay?

It was the last full day of their summer vacation. The following morning the group would be off to the airport at around 5am, and home by around 10. They gang awoke late, the night before hand was definitely tiring, as well as the trip back to the hotel. The girls were the first ones up, as per usual, leaving them alone in their room for at least an hour. The three hadn't had a lot of time just the three of them for a while, so it was quite the time.
"Okay, so, then he gave me a rose and Brock walked in and-" May couldn't Eli but giggle, "it was so embarrassing!"
Misty rolled her eyes.
"Ah, try him waking in on you kissing, that was awkward, I'll tell you that."
Dawn felt her face flush.
"Do you remember that time.. M. In the bathroom?"
May choked back her laughter at the memory.
"Y-yes." She stammered, the giggles rising up her throat.
"That was embarrassing.."

The girls continued to chat, the conversation all over the place, starting at clothes, then heading in the direction of weddings and then kids names. It was for the best that none of the guys were there. However, the males had been up for a while as well, not nearly as long as the other three, but got a while.
Ash ran a hand through his bed hair, a yawn escaping his lips.
"You guys stink." He muttered.
The other three just looked at him. It wasn't unusual for Ash to make random statements as he first got up, but it still managed to confuse them every time.
"That's you, you bird brain." Drew shot back "you didn't shower last night, or change your clothes."
Ash looked downwards, realising that Drew was most likely right. He raised his arm and sniffed, his nose scrunching at the smell.
"Yeesh, I smell awful!"
"Then go shower dummy!" Drew ordered, Ash's stupidity grating on his nerves.
"Oh, right."

Once everyone was dressed and showered (especially Ash, who spent a good ten minutes scrubbing at himself) they all met downstairs at the cafe for breakfast. Everyone ordered the usual, sitting down at the tables and starting with their conversations.
Ash was quite proud when Misty commented on his pleasant sent, causing Drew to clap his hand to his forehead, still baffled by his child-like behaviour. Paul didn't say much, as usual, however, he didn't grunt much either. Dawn smiled, appreciating his efforts to be slightly more appealing... Slightly. May was chattering away about whatever the topic if the conversation was, and Drew stared at her like a love-struck teenager, because, well, that's essentially what he was. Once breakfast was finished, they all retreated back to their rooms to finish off the final packing. The girls bags were considerably heavier than they were at the start, and so were all the guys wallets.
"I can't believe I let misty talk me Ito buying her those shoes..." Ash groaned, finding out that he was broke. Drew chuckled, feeling almost no sympathy for Ash. May wasn't the one who had spent all his money. It was Ash. The amusement park food was expensive. Once everything was packed, they all headed down to the lobby to plan what they would do for their final day in Unova. Since they had all promised not to bring any Pokemon, most of the places like the battle station weren't exactly ideal. May had suggested they go see a musical, which was quickly second by Ash. However, Drew and Paul weren't exactly keen of the girls were choosing it. Ash had suggested exploring the region a little bit, but no one else really seemed into it. After a few more suggestions, misty finally she had seen a poster for a water chariot race. They all agreed.

It was a quick process, signing up, which was unusual for such a sophisticated region such as Unova, but it was fast and no one was complaining. Both ash and misty had done the event before, but with their own Pokemon, this time it was with loan ones. They were each given a seaking, which was good for misty, since she had experience with that particular Pokemon. Yet, when Pokemon was involved, Ash always had an advantage, being the chosen one, definitely had its downfalls, putting his life on the line on more that one occasion, but it also had its perks, meaning Pokemon tended to pay extra attention to him. May didn't have a whole lot of experience with water Pokemon, sure, she had battled with her share of the type, but never had too much. Drew also hadn't had a lot of knowledge on the common type of Pokemon. Him, May and Dawn, all knew the trouble, as they were all contest specialists, not trainers. They had all been involved in battles before, definitely, it was part of having Pokemon. Brock had watched misty and Ash do this several times, but had never really done it himself. But, there's a first time for everything, right?

They all stood firmly on the semi-sphere, the gentle waves rocking the chariot slightly.
"Get ready to go down!!" Ash called.
Drew frowned.
"Trust me, I am."
There was a loud bang and the seakings  took off, each trainer gripping the lead tightly. They came to a sharp turn, which Ash leaned into with ease. Misty, Dawn, Paul and Drew followed behind, some smoother than others. Both Brock and May fell off, the Pokemon still charging forwards. Ash was in the lead now, just as everyone had expected. Both Drew and Misty tailing closely behind. Dawn and Paul both struggled to stay on, Dawn falling in o the ocean as her Pokemon jerked forwards a little too quickly. Paul flailed around quite a bit, but managed to remain on. The four rounded another corner, Paul almost losing his balance again. The water shifted, sending Ash upwards and back onto the water, his perfect balance never failing. Misty was quite good too, as the seaking leapt into the air, her legs firmly in place. Drew wobbled slightly, but still maintained his balance. Paul, however, did fall off as his chariot traveled upwards. All that was left was the three of them. The finishing line was in sight. Misty's eyes narrowed.
"C'mon, we can do this seaking!" She encouraged.
The Pokemon seemed to understand, speeding up its pace and gliding passed Ash.
"Oh no you don't!" He bent down and started to talk to his Pokemon.
It sped up too, both fish Pokemon tied. It was a tense five seconds to the finish line, but once they were through, they laughed.
They all lined up on the beach, a man standing in front of them to give them the results.
"Before I give you the final scores, I'd just like to say that is probably one of the best and worse races we've ever had." He smiled "you all fell off, but good on you for trying, and you two," he gestured to Ash and Misty, "were incredible."
They both smiled at each other, Ash's wet hand grabbing hers. He handed Misty a bronze medal and shook her hand. Ash received a silver and Drew a gold.
"You, young man," he said to Drew "have a gift, I'd like to especially congratulate you."
Drew beamed.
He thanked them all for participating and moved along to the next group.
"I can't believe I didn't notice you go by me!" Ash exclaimed, grinning.
Drew smirked.
"I finally beat the chosen one."

Me: ah, I am so sleep deprived.
Ash: are you okay??
Me: not in the slightest
Everyone:  ???
Me: well, I don't really have an awful lot to say... If you don't know what a water chariot race is, I'm pretty sure you can just look it up, but it's what they did at the begging of Pokemon: heroes (the Latios and latias one).
Ash: oh yeah, that was my first kiss...
Misty: shut up, it was just one the cheek.
Me: anyway, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed!! Bye!!!
