The gang arrived back at the hotel in the early hours of morning. It had been a big night, and everyone was tired. Ash had fallen asleep on the train ride home, and the others only just managed to keep themselves up.
Ash jolted up in his bed. "Just a bad dream" he muttered, glancing over to the clock that read '6:33'. He sighed, lying back down. "Pssst!" Ash looked up, seeing Drew awake as well. "Drew?" Ash whispered "what're you doing up, man?" "I just can't sleep." Drew said, running a hand through his hair "you?" "Nightmare." Ash chuckled. "Maybe I shouldn't have eaten all that food, I get bad dreams when I eat too much." Drew rolled his eyes. "Ash, you always eat too much."
It was their second last day of vacation. It had to be a good one. "I say we all go shopping together!" Dawn squealed All the guys groaned. "I think we should go to the beach again." Drew said with a flick of his hair. "No way! You're just gonna ruin another sand castle!" Ash hung his head, still upset. "We could go to the amusement park at Nimbassa?" Misty suggested. "I don't see why not," May shrugged. So it was decided, the gang would all head of to the Nimbassa amusement park for the day.
"What first?" Brock asked, observing all the activities set out for people to do. "Food!!" Ash instantly gasped, the food stalls catching his eyes. Misty grasped the collar of his shirt, pulling him backwards. "Food is not the priority right now, understood?" Ash slowly gave a nod. "Why don't we try that!" Drew pointed towards the old gym, which was now a roller coaster ride. Dawn froze. "Isn't that the roller coaster? Th-the really high one... W-with the loops?" Drew nodded, puffing his chest proudly. "Eyup, I bet I could do that thing with my hands up and a straight face." "I bet you couldn't." Drew clenched his teeth and turned to Ash. "You think you could?" Ash shrugged. "Look, if you gimme food, I'm in." "Alright, we'll see who can do the whole thing with their hands up and a straight face, loser has to pay for the winners food for the rest of the day." Drew smirked "so I hope you brought some extra change." Ash shrugged. "Sure." The edges of his lips slowly curled upwards "I'll make you up for ruining my sandcastle."
As the two ran towards the ride, the others followed, May and Misty discussing how stupid their boys were, and Dawn clinging to Paul. "Would you let go already?" Paul ripped his arm from Dawns hands, only to be retrieved again. "No..." Dawn blushed, looked away. Paul sighed. 'Why does she have to be so darn cute?' He cursed under his breath, already regretting his next chosen actions. He leaned over and pecked her cheek. Dawn stared at him. "E-eh?!" Paul looked away, his face turning red. "Sh-Shut up."
