Me: Guess who was inspired suddenly to continue writing this book!
Ash: I'm gonna guess you.
Me: That would be correct
Misty: It's about time, you stopped for about a year.
May: Oh my gosh yes!!
Me: I know, I know, I'm sorry. But, I won't continue rambling, here is the chapter!

Everyone woke up nice and early for next day.
"Mmm! What's for breakfast!!" Ash asked hungrily.
"Whatever you've got in you food supplies, doing." Drew said, slapping the back his head.
"Oh."
Brock emerged from the tent groaning.
"What's wrong?" Dawn asked, also getting up.
"That's the last time I'm sharing a tent with him." Brock pointed at Ash.

After breakfast everyone was on their way.
"Brock, this is BORING!!!" Ash whined.
"Well, we could all use the exercise." Brock stated.
"But we walk around an entire REGION for a living!!" Misty argued, also unimpressed.
"But the view is worth it." Dawn sighed as she picture the view at the top.
"Yep!" Brock agreed.

They all trudged on, feeling quite bored.
"Drew," May grabbed his arm "can you carry me? Please?"
"No." He replied forcefully.
"Pleeeeeeeaaaaaaase??"
"No." The two argued back and forth before Drew finally decided to give up.
They walked along in silence. Nothing needed to be said, so nothing was.  Dawn was feeling particularly down in the dumps. They had been walking for hours and still no signs of any breathtaking scenery.
"Are we there yet?" Dawn asked.
"Nope, halfway." Brock answered.
Dawn groaned angrily. Her brow creased as she started to stomp. She forcefully slammed her feet to the ground, one by one.
"Careful troublesome," Paul warned "you might hurt yourself."
Dawn didn't listen. She continued to stomp along the rocky terrain, harder and harder each time.
"Troublesome," Paul warned again, actually showing concern.
"MY NAME ISN'T TROUBLESOME!" She yelled, stomping her foot on the ground one final time. But as she did, her foot landed directly on a rock.
"Ack!" She yelped as pain shot up her leg. Her foot then slipped, sending her violently tumbling down the mountain.
"DAWN!" Paul yelled, his eyes wide with panic. Everyone turned around. He bolted down the hill after her. Not daring to take his eyes of her. She finally slowed down as she crashed against a rock.
As Paul sprinted the last distance, everyone else followed.
"Dawn, it's okay, don't worry, I'm here, I've got you."
Dawn closed her eyes, lying limp in Paul's arms.
"I've got you." He repeated.

* * *

Dawn finally woke up.
"She's awake!"
"Shhhh! You're gonna freak her out!"
"Would you two just shut up?!"
Dawn sat up slowly.
"Urgh!" She moaned, clutching her sides. Everything hurt.
She was in a hospital bed, at the Pokemon centre. All her friends were gathered around her.
"H-hey guys.." She whispered, her voice weak.
"Hey Dawn, you feeling better?" May asked.
"Um, I think so..." Dawn rubbed her throbbing head "what happened?"
"We were hiking up the mountain, you tripped as fell." Brock explained.
"After that, you passed out," Drew continued "though, I'm pretty sure that was the first time I've ever seen Paul show emotion!"
Paul grunted from the corner of the room.
"Oh! We got you something too!" Misty said, setting a bunch of flowers and a card on Dawn's bedside table.
"Thanks guys." She thanked meekly.
"We should leave now guys," Brock said "we'll come back later."
And with that they left.
Dawn sighed. All she really wanted was to have a relaxing holiday. With shopping, and swimming, relaxing at the beach with her friends. But now everything hurt.
"You should've listened to me."
Dawn jumped with fright, sending pain shooting through her body.
"I know." She mumbled, sitting up again. She looked across the room to where Paul was standing.
"But, I don't really blame you either." Pauls face seemed to soften slightly "no one wanted to be there anyway."
Dawn looked over and glance down at her hands.
"I remember now." She said.
"Huh?"
"I remember what happened." Dawn smiled "it actually sounded like you cared about me, when you screamed my name."
Paul grunted again, a faint blush dusting his cheeks.
"Paul?"
"What."
"Do you care about me?"
Paul looked over to her. Of course he cared about her, he told her she he loved her, wasn't that enough?
"Yes." He muttered.
Dawn looked up in surprise.
"What?"
"Yes Dawn, I do care about you."
She gasped. He really did care about her. She went to step out of bed but, still everything hurt.
"Um, Paul?"
He sighed and picked her up, carrying her out of the centre bridal style.
"Troublesome." He mumbled.
Dawn just laughed

As the two arrived back at the hotel, Dawn was bombarded with hugs and smiles.
"I'm so glad you're okay!" May exclaimed.
Dawn giggled
"I'm all better now! No need to worry!"
"How about we go out somewhere tonight to celebrate!" Ash suggested.
"For once, I think he's on to something," Drew smirked "let's make it Dawn's choice"
"I heard about a ball happening tomorrow in Nimbassa city, perhaps we could go there?" Dawn said, recalling a poster she had seen somewhere.
May beamed at the idea.
"Balls mean dresses and dresses mean-"
"SHOPPING!!" The girls cried in unison.
The guys each shuddered. None of them had had any good shopping experiences, especially when dresses were involved.
"Then it's settled!" Misty said, confirming the event.
The boys groaned. It was going to be a long day.

Me: honestly, I thought this chapter was pretty good!
May: Yeah! Oh my gosh though, I'm so excited for the ball tomorrow night!!
Girls: Squeeeeeeee!
Ash: well, as long as there's food
Drew: I'm quite keen on showing of my dancing skills,
May: Drew, everyone knows you have two left feet.
Drew: *blushes* no I don't!!
Me: I was reading back on the earlier chapters and, man they're cringey. But I hope the ones to come won't be.
Brock: they'll be less cringey if I had a romantic encounter! And got married!
Misty: *hits Brock on the head with her mallet*
Brock: ow...
Me: well, hopefully the best chapter won't be far away! Love you guys and see ya soon!
Everyone: BYE!!
