THE YOUNG SILVER-HAIRED GIRL swallows a lump in her throat, forcing herself to not throw up as she watches the Dothraki celebrate Daenerys and Drogo's wedding. The men are all fighting each other for practically, if not fully, nude women to have a turn with, and Maelys is being forced to sit there and watch it all next to her sister.

For some reason unknown to Maelys, when she arrived, instead of being sat with her brother and Illyrio, Khal Drogo insisted on Maelys being seated right next to her sister instead of with her brother. Maelys looks over to her sister beside her and sees Daenerys is just as stricken by the Dothraki's wedding celebration as she is, which gives her a bit of relief to know she isn't the only one feeling this way. Though, when she looks over at her brother, she doesn't think he's looked more amused in his life.

"When do I meet the Khal?" Viserys impatiently questions Illyrio, though his amusement at the Dothraki festivities is evident on his face despite his tone. "We need to begin planning the invasion."

"If Khal Drogo has promised you a crown, you shall have it," Illyrio assures Viserys.

"When?" Viserys questions, his tone growing more impatient by the second, as is his amusement.

"When their omens favor war," Illyrio replies.

"I piss on Dothraki omens." Viserys scoffs, and Maelys wonders how her brother can be arrogant enough to speak ill of the Dothraki and their omens right in front of them. "I waited seventeen years to get my thrones back."

Maelys turns away from her brother and Illyrio, looking back to the Dothraki only to see the violence has only gotten more intense since she had last looked at them. She watches as two men fight each other to the death for a woman each is trying to get to, and when she turns to see Khal Drogo, he is watching avidly, clearly enjoying the chaos before him.
