On cue, undead surrounded the cemetery closing in on them. While four circled Samael keeping him away from Acrux.
"Are you here to kill me too?" Samael asked, laughing hysterically. "I love the loyalty between you guys, it simply makes me want to shed a few tears. But I have things to do, people to kill and you in my way right now."
"I've met many killers, but you are in the top ten who love to hear themselves talk. Though suppose life in the streets makes your social skills a bit rusty."
Pressing her lips together Azalea held in a chuckle, as she observed, curious to finally see Acrux in his element. Slowly she slipped the knife out, and began cutting her binds until almost all the way through but stopping, so when the time was right she could easily rip away the ropes.
You would think he would use regular rope, but he took everything into account including my strength. Damn him. She thought, annoyed by all the hassle, she had to go through. Back then it was just her creeping her way through the darkness until she completed her kill. Simple and straightforward.
Holding up a hand, Acrux said, "Well don't let me deter you, leave me Azalea and I'll let you be."
Azalea stared at Acrux, her mouth falling open, that sentence was the last thing she expected to hear.
Choking out a laugh, "You want Azalea, and you will let me just walk away, excuse me if I do not believe you. If you want people to trust your word, do not point a big-ass sword at them."
Glancing at the sword in his hand he said, "And I thought you of all people shouldn't worry, you have a handful of guards surrounding you. Unless you do not trust in your capabilities."
Samael scoffed. "It is people like you, the reason I was successful. No one would expect a street Urchin to become the Resurrector of Souls, but that is what aided me. Because of being underestimated, I was undetected, Until Azzy here decided to interfere. Though I suppose that's an oversight on my part, I did seek her out first, so the fault is not entirely here."
"Are you done with your monologue," Arcrux asked.
Glancing back and forth between Azalea and Crux, he cocked a brow. "You two are cut from the same cloth, probably why you guys find to get along that well."
Hearing enough, Azalea ripped off her bounds and charged, stabbing the eye of the nearest guard. And hell broke loose.
