"We are unfortunate to announce the death of Adam Fu, tragically, his body was found in the east wing boys' washroom. He had an instant death due to an unknown cause, so please, do not panic. This was not a murder, I repeat, this was not a murder."

The principal was standing in the courtyard with a microphone to his mouth. The sun was scorching red, drenching the students in sweat and fear. His eyes were wide as he dabbed a handkerchief to his temple. "The school will stricten safety measures and ensure the security is top tier but for now please head straight back to your dorms. And do not interact with anyone."

Adam was the bento guy.

The sirens were wailing, flashing dazed hues of blues and reds. The ambulance was parked right on the horizon of the school, where soon the body of the dead student would be transported to the hospital.

Multiple students burst into tears, out of the fact that they were terrified or that they were friends with Adam.

The 3 of them were still in shock as they stumbled back to their dorms, taking a detour, they remaster their plan.

"What do we do?? The Bento guy is dead. Do you think his death was accidental?" Rory asked anxiously.

"I don't think it's possible. He may have kept more to himself than what he informed me and Noel." Although Autumn knew who the killer was, she knew it was her fault for making a scene, allowing them to stray off-topic with Adam. She was feeling extremely guilty, especially since she was basically playing along clueless but she still had to gain 'information' for the gang. Nevertheless, this was the plan for her revenge, and she was going to stick with it.

"Autumn..." Rory hesitated to tell her best friends about the note she had received, feeling awful and guilty, she handed Autumn the note.

Autumn's eyes widen from horror to extreme concern as her eyes glide through the rows of the neat typewriter font.

"Rory...this is insane. Why didn't you come to me earlier about this."

This was bad Autumn thought, why was Chrome targeting Rory?

"I'm sorry I just had so much going on."

"This isn't true, is it?" She said, her voice trembling.

"I do have bad thoughts and nightmares but I would never do those things to the people I love. You know that, Autumn."

"And I wasn't good enough of a friend for you to tell?" Even though she was significantly hurt, she knew she also kept secrets from Rory. But that was different, it was for her protection.

"This was personal, I didn't want to scare you off..."

"If you trusted me as a real friend, you would never have to think twice about that. Everyone has their monsters. I wouldn't judge you for having nightmares." She frowned. "So all those times you had nightmares, I thought it was just a result of pure stress."

"Well, it's a lot of factors." Rory's face was even more gloomy than usual and it broke Autumn's heart to see her in this state of regret.

"You should go forward with that note to the office. I am not risking having you in danger."

"Yeah, I agree with Autumn," Ajax said encouragingly.

"No. I have to meet up with Chrome."

...

"No you can't," Ajax and Autumn said in illusion, eyes wide.

"I need to gain some truth and clarity for my condition. Chrome is going to reveal himself to me, don't you see? We can catch him, we just need to come up with a plan."

"Either way, you're putting yourself in danger. What if it's a trap?" Ajax said.

"Fine. I won't go. But I also don't want to come forward with the not just yet" Rory lied.

Autumn relaxed. "Okay. Well, you got to do it soon. Maybe when Adam's death calms down."

While they all thought about Adam, they all felt a sense of tightness within their chest. Adam was a good guy. He entered the school with a scholarship, similarly to Ajax, he had to get a job outside of school while balancing to keep up with his grades, all to ensure he would secure a lifetime of luxury for his future.

"I'm gonna call Noel because we didn't see him." Ajax held the phone to his ear and rang him 2 times. "Huh, straight to voicemail. I guess he must be freaking out. Maybe we should let him calm down first."

"Yeah, we should leave him alone for now. I recall them being close in our AP classes," Rory observed. "Let's head back to our dorms now."
