Y/n POV

After the party was over, there weren't many of us left in the common room. Most of the students went to their rooms or fell asleep wherever they could.

I've had enough to drink and I should go to bed too, but the couch seems so comfortable to me at this moment, that I postpone leaving for a few minutes. And, of course, those minutes turn into more.

"Let's play truth or dare!" Pansy comes up with the idea.

Someone snorts from an armchair next to me and we all look at him, before approving the game. Of course it's Draco Malfoy.

"Really, Parkinson?" he says bored. "It's the most pathetic game idea for a party."

"No one asked for your opinion, Malfoy." I say rolling my eyes.

"Yeah, and we always play truth or dare." Pansy adds.

"Because you're all pathetic."

Oh, my God.

"If you came here to spoil our fun, you can leave." I say turning to him.

"Whatever." he says rolling his eyes.

"That's-"

"Y/n, let him be." Daphne interrupts me. "He's always rude when he's drunk."

"Not just when he's..."

I stop, not because I forgot my idea, but because the person who walks in leaves me speechless.

"So, who wants to play?"

"I do!"

This voice.

This damn voice.

I can't believe he has the guts to show himself after what he did.

"Yo, mate! Come here!"

I look at Blaise, who just invited him, and I feel like I've never wanted to hit someone as much as I do now.

"That blonde girl wasn't so good, was she?" Malfoy asks.

He wants to know, but I don't, so when I see him approaching the sofa I'm sitting on, I immediately stand up.

"I'm done here. You guys have-"

"Wait! Where are you going?" Pansy interrupts me concerned. "We can find another game if you-"

"No, Pansy, it's fine. I don't feel like playing anymore."

"It's because of him?" Daphne asks me in a whisper so that only I can hear.

I give Owen a disgusted look, then subtly nod my head.

"I'll go to sleep. See you-"

"Oh, come on, Y/n!" Blaise interrupts me, pissed off. "Stay! You won't remember anything in the morning anyway."

And that should stop me from leaving?

"He has a point." a random boy approves.

I don't even think I've ever seen him in our circle before.

"See?" Pansy insists. "You need to have fun too."

I sigh and give Owen another look. I don't trust him, but I trust myself, even if I'm drunk. A few extra minutes won't kill anyone.
