I hopped out of Optimus as my dad was walking down the driveway with the first box to put in the trunk. He turned around when he heard the door shut. "(y/n)? Where did you get that?" he asked pointing to Optimus
"Oh, this? My friend let me borrow the truck," I said patting Optimus's door
"She's sleek," Dad said
"He, Dad" I said
My dad looked at me wide-eyed "He? As in Bumblebee he or just he?" Dad asked
"Bumblebee he," I said as Optimus honked his horn
"Well Sam's off to college and you're bringing home guys," he said "The worlds going to end!" Dad said as I rolled my eyes. We walked into the house as Dad started to yell "Come on lets go all hands on deck! Frankie, Mojo out!" he said to the dogs as I walked outside.
"Oh, where did she come from?" Sam asked pointing to me as I smiled
"Miss me?" I asked
"That depends," he said turning to our Dad "Why are you in such a hurry to get rid of me?" Sam asked "Did you rent the room out?" Sam asked
"No, I got other ideas for your room and it rhymes with home theater," he said as I laughed making Sam try to push me, we walked into the house grabbing boxes as we heard Mom crying
"You ok Mom?" I asked
"Look what I found, it's the both of yous' little baby booties," she said holding up two pair of white shoes on a string. A look of dread hit my face
"I thought I burned those!" I mumble as Sam goes to hug our mom
"oh Mom," he said as Mom dragged me into this hug
"My little baby bootie babies. You can't go, and you can't fight robots anymore," Mom said squeezing the air out of the both of us
"See Dad, this is how you're supposed to react when a fruit of your loins is out of the nest," Sam said to Dad getting more boxes
"Don't worry he did the same thing to me when I was in the airport on my way to BootCamp," I said as my Dad scoffed
"Yeah my heart bleeds for you pal .Collage. Bummer," Dad said sarcastically, so that's where I get it from. I slipped out of my Mom's grasp and grabbed boxes to put in the car. I walked out to the driveway looking at Optimus. What the hell? Where did the decency go? Now I'm just blankly staring at him now? I rolled my eyes. I seriously need to get over this admiration I have going on here. I walked back to the yard where Sam and Dad were talking.
"How long are you going to ride that scooter?" Dad asked "Oh! Your sister brought a truck home!" Dad said as I looked at him confused
"What happened here?" I asked
"relationship talk,"
"Truck?" Sam asked as I smiled "Oh no, see this is what I'm talking about, you like him!" Sam said as I shushed him
"I do not! He's my friend!" I said
"Friend" Sam said with air quotes "I see him pull one of his Cybertronian moves on my big sister I'm going to melt him!" Sam said
"Aw, you do love me," I joked as sams phone rang
"Oh, who could that be?" Sam said holding his phone up I rolled my eyes
"Two weeks it could be Muffy," Dad said as I snickered
"HEY BEAUTIFUL!" Sam said as I laughed walking to the car with my Dad
