♔| personality general personality Cain is a most noble man. He is much like his father, Lord Richmond, who is described to be a righteous and honourable man. He is still young though, so not nearly as solemn as Lord Black is. He has enough room in his life for jests and pranks, especially when they involve his sister. He would do absolutely anything for his sister, she is his world and if any harm would ever come to her, he would absolutely lose himself. Overall he is very much in control of his emotions, but when it comes to his family, he can lose himself sometimes. He beats himself up for it, saying a proper lord should never lose control, though the people who love him tell him it is merely a sign of his loyalty towards his house and his family and there is nothing dishonourable about that.
Cain is quite the perfectionist when it comes to carrying out the tasks and duties his father leaves him in charge off. He allows himself no mistake and can ponder about things endlessly. He is afraid to make decisions as he worries to make the wrong ones and make irreversible mistakes. Unlike his sister, who hesitates not, no matter in what situation, he is often unsure about what to do. He hesitates way too much, which is his weakness in the battlefield as well. His sister never hesitates to take a life when needed to, especially in order to protect herself. He looks up to her in many ways, even though she is a woman.
He is a great leader though, he has heart for his people and listens to every single man who follows him. He has learnt from his father that you have to give people reason to want to follow you. Fear easily turns into anger but loyalty turns into love, which only strengthens loyalty again. He ensures to look after his people, satisfy their needs and earn their loyalty. He does well, the young lord is loved by many and cheered on by his people.
Many lords desire him as groom for their daughters, mostly because of his claim and many young ladies desire him as their husband because he is known to be very gentle and respectful towards women. He has not once attempted something with a woman before, saying that if he cannot offer someone true love, he should not expect for them to give him pleasure either. It goes both ways. Ladies admire such devotion. He is quite picky on who'd he have as his wife though and he wants his sisters approval before he marries, which might as well be the hardest part.
