zara groans on the other side of the phone

"he won't be that bad there are conditions and rules to this, if he steps over the line then we'll find someone new but until then it helps both parties and he's the only person we can find on such short notice"
gina huffs in annoyance, she had explained it at least four times to the younger woman on the phone,
"okay..but how much time do i have to spend with him, surely with my tour and making my new album he won't have much time to see me"
zara was trying to make any excuse to not fully commit to this stunt

"well in fact both of your schedules match up quite well so you'll be travelling together and you'll be spending as much time as possible together to sell this, if you travel with him then you can actually perform more than you would normally"
gina replies in a matter-of-fact tone

landos tired voice fell through the small office
" unfortunately i'm not lando and we're going to need your full cooperation for this to work"

charlotte ,landos pr manager, started explaining to the man the situation at hand
" where did this idiotic idea even come from?"
mumbles the man, running a hand down his face
"well willows management thought of the idea to help with her public image and since your public image at the moment is drinking, raging and sleeping around they thought it would be helpful for us too"
charlotte explained

"i don't need help, i'm perfectly fine with the way i'm living now i don't see why this is needed, it's her problem not mine"
lando says as he sits down, clearly disinterested in the topic at hand
"lando every week there's a new article of you with a new girl and aftermath of another fight, we do need this to make sure that you stay appealing to your sponsors otherwise you might not have a seat next season."

that caught landos attention no seat next season, that was the first he was hearing of this
"what do you mean i might not have a seat next season I'm getting better with my racing, i've had 3 podiums the last 5 races"
his brows were furrowed and his stare hard on charlotte

"well lando some of the sponsors think your too much trouble and too much drama so they've been saying that they might reconsider"
charlotte told the man keeping her voice quiet as if the volume of it would trigger him
"what?! they can't i'm on the podium! i'm racing amazingly! that's what they should be worried about! my racing not my personal life! this is unbelievable"
