as a knock sounded through zara's empty house she pushed her headphones down off her ears and placed them onto the desk infront of her before moving up and out of her chair. the brunette walked out of her studio and down the hallway towards her front door, swinging it open and being met by the tall driver she was fake dating.

her body froze as the man took her into a warm hug spinning her round slightly, landos hands rested gently on her hips and zara gingerly snaked her arms round his neck, confusion present in her actions.

"why are you so tense, they'll notice"
landos hushed voice brushed against her ear.
the media. how could she forget. what other reason would lando have to hug her?

her body physically loosened slightly, appearing more natural and casual for the media. when the two of them broke apart, lando made his way into the house, zara following behind looking over her shoulder towards the hired paparazzi.

when the singer closed the door behind herself, she was greeted by lando stood almost directly infront of her, his back facing her. zara felt fidgety as he looked over her house, she hadn't cleaned before he came over but she didn't feel the need.

lando gazed at the house around him, they were currently stood in her hallway, which was painted a light beige, but not one that made the hallway feel like an authoritative building, one that held warmth and comfort in the colour. there was a small oak table by the door that held a tinted glass bowl with a couple pairs of keys and bobbles in it along with a lip gloss. there was a photo frame behind the bowl that showed a young brunette girl no older than ten years old on the hip of a tall man who looked maybe 30 at best, the two of them looked euphoric, the man's smile so big and eyes full of adoration and love.

lando guessed that was her dad, although the photo was pretty cute he had to admit, it only made him more sure that the girl he was stood infront of was a daddy's girl who was given a very generous helping on her way to her career.

on the wall opposite there was a hanging picture of two children, a boy and a girl, both small and both brunette although the boy was slightly taller than the girl, the two were sat side by side on a bench in what looked like a park and they were both holding ice creams.

towards the end of the hallway was a door, that was currently open. but at the end of the hallway was a spiralling staircase with an arch behind it.

zara moved infront of lando, "i'm going to be in here recording," she said pointing at the open door and walking down the hallway and past the stairs and through the archway  ", through here is the kitchen on the right and the living room on the left. if you need anything it should be in here, the toilet is the first door infront of you when your at the top of the stairs"

lando had followed her through the archway and walked further in, in between the kitchen and the living room.
"thanks" he mumbled, before she left and entered the room in the hallway, closing the door behind her.

as lando looked around her kitchen it was all pretty standard, mainly white and oak, all very clean and everything very organised. the walls were a lighter shade of cream, almost white, keeping the warmth and welcoming atmosphere in the house. there was no personality in this room but he wasn't really expecting any, it's a kitchen after all.

but as lando moved to the living room part of her open planned living, it felt like he had entered an intimate space. there was a cream fluffy rug on the hardwood floor in the middle of the room, an L shaped couch in the corner, it was a dark brown teddy bear colour with white and cream velvet pillows in the corners along with a fluffy white blanket draped over the end of the shorter side of the sofa.
