[@molkers5 = hi i hope this isn't too late to request something. maybe another yn x nadwe highschool au. i don't know what but maybe fluff. thank you]

(Honestly I have absolutely no idea what to write when given that request due to working on another project at the moment, so I asked my beloved friend Wo1fy (follow @DarkWo1f8 if you haven't btw she's really cool <3) for some help and she did)

(So the uttermost thank you to Wo1fy for helping with the basic idea of this. I also found a random prompt from tumblr and decided to throw that in here too.)

Evening. [/ˈēvniNG/]

The duration of a day that begins within the end of the afternoon and overlaps with the beginning of the nightfall.

Also known as the time you associate with your friend, back when you first introduced yourself to him.

It was after school on your first day of the year. You were sitting outside of your school building's staircase, your school bag sprawled to your left and your coat folded haphazardly on your right. On your lap was a notebook, and a pen in hand, as you admired the surroundings around you.

You could faintly hear the sounds of birds chirping from the skies above, and the periodic barking of faraway dogs. Maybe they were from the park across the street?

The remaining rays of the sun cast long shadows on the ground from objects and buildings. The slanting rays of the setting sun give a warm golden tinge to the sky, as it fades off into a cerulean blue. Carried within it were soft, almost mist-like clouds. They accompanied the skies like... peanut butter and jelly. Inseparable.

You quietly chuckled to yourself at the silly remark. Honestly, comparing a beautiful (that was a lie. You were just romanticizing everything to make your life much more interesting) scenery to some peanut butter and jelly combo was such a weird thing. A sigh escaped your lips as you lazily scratched that part out.

Honestly, what are you even doing at this point? Sitting out of the school grounds, loitering around and waiting until the sun actually sets to go back home. Of course, you were doing this for a reason. You just wanted to avoid your parents from them asking the dreadful question you've been avoiding throughout your entire holiday.

'Did you join any useful programs and activities in school? They'd benefit you, y'know.'

Long story short, they were hoping you'd participate in an afterschool activity to get some extra credits. And as if you weren't tired already from all the other lessons you had to take for the week. And at this point you barely had any time for yourself and to do things that you want to do.

...what are the things that you wanted to do, anyways? You've always wasted your time doing things that people around you wanted you to do, but never things that you yourself wanted to.

You thought hard about it. And the conclusion you got at the end? Probably get more sleep. And lay down on the cold hard floor to not lose yourself to everything that is going on right now.

Hobbies? You barely remembered the last time you actually felt happy doing something. All those lessons your parents forced onto you made every single damn thing feel like a chore. It was never fun, you've lost finding the happiness in it.

So what does that have to do with anything you're doing at the moment?

Well, you told your parents you'll try to apply to an extracurricular at this new school. Since it did say on the site that they have a lot of things students can try out on. But that was a lie (if you still couldn't guess after all that).
