It's been 10 years. I arrived at the beach to see Elezia again. I brought a bouquet of flowers at ipinatong ko 'yon sa puno kung saan kami nagsusulat ng message.

I picked up a sharp rock and I carved the date and my message.

"07-14-33" I muttered what I'm carving on the tree. It's the date today. The sun is about to set as I write my message for Elezia. I know she will be happy and proud of me kapag nabasa niya 'to. Kaso late na naman ako ngayon, uusok na naman ang ilong noon.

I heard little footsteps behind me kaya agad akong napalingon.

I saw a child wearing a dress, may hawak siyang plastic full of marshmallows. She stretched out her hand offering me one.

Napangiti ako when I realized who this kid resembles. I accepted her offer and ate the marshmallow. Ngumiti siya akin and it reminded me more of her.

It reminded me of the girl who saved me.
