"So you adopted him?" Cassie asks Vanny. Vanny sighs.
"Basically..."
She proceeds to ruffle my hair.
"I'm this little brat's new auntie."
"Hey, watch the hair!" I exclaim, proceeding to fix my hair. Cassie giggles a little before looking at me again.
"You look...different from when we last met," She tells me. I smile a little.
"Is that a bad thing or good thing?" I ask her.
"A very good thing," She answers, "You look mature for your age..."
"It's the clothing," Vanny tells her, "(Y/N) here hasn't changed a bit..."
I deadpan.
"That's a little harsh auntie," I say, but Vanny chuckles. Cassie had a face of realization, and proceeded to fumble with something in her sweater. I tilt my head a little in confusion.
She then hands me a wristband necklace, similar to hers. It was green and purple. Engraved were the letters C and Y, and in between it was a heart. I take it and look at her.
"H-Happy 15th b-b-birthday (Y/N)..." She says, blushing.

Cassie tilts her head in confusion... and worry.
"It's my birthday...?" I asked.
"Yeah... December 16th...?" Cassie answered, concerned.

"I thought it was July..." Vanny says, "Because I heard fireworks in the distance the other day..."
"The 4th of July was 5 months ago..." Cassie said.

"Jesus. How long have we been in here?" I ask.
"It's been eight months since the explosion..." Cassie tells us.
"EIGHT MONTHS!?" Vanny and I exclaim.
I and Vanny look at each other in pure shock.
"We lost track of time around July..." Vanny tells Cassie.
"Oh my god...How did you two even last a month here!?" She exclaims.
"I guess you can say we make the best out of a bad situation," Vanny replies. I smile at Vanny's reply.
Cassie looks at me.
"Now we can find Georgia and get out of here!" She exclaims.
