They almost feel like winning a fight when they saw an inn on the way. They immediately go in and asked the man on the counter the prices of their rooms.
Wude was the one who asked the man. “Boss, do still have room available here?”
The man looked at them and smiled before nodding. “Heroes welcome to our inn, yes, we still have rooms available for all of you. How many rooms for you want to rent?”
Linxiu was the one who continue talking. “Boss, how much is your room?”
“Just 5 penny for a night, miss.” All of them gaped at the cheapness of the rooms.
“Ha? That's too cheap. Boss, are you sure you are saying it right?” Xixi asked and the man nodded.
Linxiu then put 10 coins on the the counter. “Get us two room then, boss. Thank you.”
“Got it!” The man immediately took the coins before they guide them to the second floor of the inn. Then the man showed the them the two rooms. “Heroes, here is your rooms and these are your room keys. Enjoy your night!” He said gave the keys to Linxiu before leaving them. Then Linxiu gave him the keys for their keys before the three women get inside their room. He just shook his head and opened the door to their room before getting in.
“Wow! This inn is so huge but cheap. I already tried renting a room in an inn before and this definitely cost almost 50 pennies.” Wude said while looking at the inn.
“I think so too. Or maybe the boss doesn't have too much customer that's why they made it cheap.” Xiao Li agreed while he sat on the bed and took off his bag and shoes before he looked at his friends.
“I think there is something wrong with this inn.” He said out of nowhere. The two looked at him and they all sat on the bed.
“What do you mean?” Wude asked him.
“Well, I feel weird when seeing the smile of that man on the counter and I feel like someone is watching us right now.” He said while looking around. But all of the corner is being lighted so he felt his feeling weird. “And I can sense a strong smell of something I can't pinpoint.”
“Don't stress yourself, you've been restless these days, maybe you needed some rest and you'll be refreshed.” Xiao Li said to him while getting laid on the bed. He was on the left side while Wude is in the right side of the bed. And Xiao Li is in the middle. The bed is so wide that all grown ups can accommodate.
“Well, it might be the case.” He just said and also lay on the bed. Not long after, the three of them had already slept soundly.
Mengxin has this feeling of instinct that there is something wrong with the inn they are in. She had been looking around if someone is watching them but there is not that's why she felt a little security but her heart almost left out when she looked beside her and Linxiu is already sitting.
Linxiu looked at her like she is becoming weird so she just composed herself and sat properly. “Are you okay, Mengxin? You looked tense.”
“I—I think I'm feeling something weird about this place.” She whispered.
Linxiu looked around before nodding. “I can feel it too. But you also needed to sleep because you've been on the road for days without too much sleep and overthinking won't help you at night. Just be vigilant and be on alert, okay?”
She nodded before laying beside Xinxin who is now in deep sleep. She followed Linxiu's instructions and sleep while she is on alert mode.
An unknown man walked downstairs and directly walked towards the kitchen where their main boss is waiting. When he arrived there, he immediately bow and smile. “Boss, I already send them to their room. I can also smell a faint of deity smell on them so I assume that they are a disciples of a deities. So, what should I do next, boss?”
