“You really experienced so much outside the palace. Good thing you found yourself a master and friends that has accompanied you throughout your journey.” His mother said.
“That's right. I'm really thankful I met them because I learned a lot from them.”
“Okay. It is getting late, you should go back to your room and have a rest. I have already send someone to clean your room yesterday so your room is already tidied. I will send your dinner later at your room, I want to eat with you.”
“Okay, mother.” He said and leave his mother's palace.
While walking towards his room, he felt someone is following him so he tried to walk to other direction and hide on the tree while waiting that someone to show up.
Just a second, he immediately saw a familiar faces looking around.
“Where is he? Isn't he just in front of us earlier? Don't tell me he felt us?” Wude said to Xixi.
“I already told you that we shouldn't surprise him anymore and just show up, now, we are already lost.” Xixi answered while looking around.
Wait, what is this two doing here?
He stopped hiding and walks towards the two. “What are you doing here?”
The two looked at him and from being scared face, they sighed and smiled.
“I thought it was a guards.” Wude said before nearing him. “Wei Xin, good thing you're here, we've been looking for you for hours.”
“Why are you two here? And how did you know I am here? I didn't told Mengxin my whereabouts.”
“Well, Mengxin just told us to protect the road since you are going towarda Xunia Kingdom so we decided to be on the south and east while Xiao Li and Linxiu has been protecting the north and Mengxin on the east. I think we were the one who arrived here earlier so we decided to find you in secret since we don't have any documents to go inside the palace.” Wude answered.
Is that why his journey is so smooth along the way?
“Goodness, Wei Xin. Mengxin told us there might be obstacles in the road while you go to the Xunia Kingdom, why? Don't tell me you have some important business with this palace? Or did you offend some people here in the Xunia?” Xixi told him while looking around.
He smirked. “Do I look like I always offend others? Let's go to my room.” He said and they followed him.
When they reached his room, they immediately get inside and the two has already been looking around.
“Wei Xin, your room is so big! Does the emperor here is too generous to give you a room like this as a visitor?” Xixi told him.
He laughed and shook his head. “Actually, I have something to tell you. I am not a visitor here.”
“Then what?” Wude asked him who was sitting in front of him.
He looked at him. “I am the second prince of the Xunia Kingdom, Wei Zhi.”
“Ah?! Are you kidding?” Xixi asked him.
“I'm not. My real name is Wei Zhi and I was once disowned by my father because I don't want to be the crown prince. I only want to be a martial artist.”
“Are you really not joking?” Wude asked him.
“What do I get in joking with you? You can ask Xixi's father, General Pan, I know he knows who I am.”
