When the dinner came, they all ate together and Xiao Li and its master even made liquors for the night. He was the one rolling the grilled bird to avoid it from getting burnt while Mengxin is beside him and just watching him cook.
Everytime he looked at her, she always smile at him so he also smiled back and that's how their night happened.
When the morning came, he found a letter pigeon outside the tent when he came out so he immediately took it and saw the jade pendant and the word MEI was engraved on it so he assume that it was from Mei Wude's family. He immediately walked towards the tent of Wude's master and knocked on it.
When Wude opened the door, he show him the pigeon. “I saw a letter pigeon outside and your family name is engraved on the jade pendant so I assumed that the letter is for you.”
Mei Wude nodded and took the pigeon and checked on the pendant. “This really is the Mei's letter pigeon, thank you, Xin.”
He nodded. “You're welcome.”
“You can come in. There is a tea inside so you can warm your body.” Wude told him and they both go inside the tent. Wude serve him a tea and sat beside him before he opened the letter.
It is just a second before Wude gets up immediately while still looking at the the letter.
“What happened? Did something happened?” He asked worriedly. Wude handed him the letter which he immediately read the content. “Wude, I hope you can come back in the sect immediately once you see this letter. Our sect's disciples has been disappearing one by one everyday and we tried every means to investigate and ask other sects to help us but we failed. We hope for you to come home and help us with the management of the sect while we solve this problem.”
He looked at Wude who is walking back and forth in front of him so he immediately stopped him.
“Stop walking around or you'll only gets tired again. Your sect needs you so don't fall sick.” He said and tapped Wude's shoulder. “Don't worry, I will go with you on your sect and help in the investigation. I also know that our friends will be willing to come with you so just think at ease.” He said and drink his tea before he blow his flute, waking all their friends.
It just took them almost minute before all of them came inside the tent.
“What happened? I immediately came here when I heard the flute of Wei Xin.” Linxiu said while yawning.
“Here, read this and tell me whether you all come or not.” He said and put the letter in the table. All of them read it before looking at Wude and him who is waiting for their answers. “So?”
“Are you really asking me that? Of course I'll come with you all.” Xiao Li said.
“Me too.” The three women said in unison.
“Thank you, everyone.” Wude said and they just all tapped his shoulder and decided to wait for the elders to come home from their mission early this morning so they can bid goodbye properly before leaving.
When the elders already arrived, they immediately told them the situation and Wude's master lend them his flying ark so they can immediately arrived at Wude's sect.
And the ark did live to its name and they immediately arrived in two days and the ark landed in front of Wude's sect.
The Meili sect's disciples immediately saw Wude and immediately escorted them inside their sect.
“Father!” Wude shouted when he saw his father approaching them.
“My son. You finally came back!” Wude's father immediately hugged his son and patted his shoulder.
