It has been five wonderful years since the birth of Ney'lana and Sey'lana. The clan was intrigued and absolutely in love with both twins. They would admire them from a far and always congratulate Jake and Neytiri, even five years later, on having such incredible and outstanding children.
As they grew older, the twins formed their own personalities.
Ney'lana was a momma's girl through and through. Not only was she the spitting image of her mother, but she also acted the same.
Ney'lana would walk around as the adorable, sweet looking child, but she was very short tempered, especially when it came to protecting her twin sister.
Even from a young age, Jake, Neytiri, Moat, and Eytukan could all tell that Ney'lana's temper was even greater than Neytiri's and Jake's combined
Even with her temper, she easily charmed the whole clan with her absolute beauty and show stopping eyes. They all knew she was going to be a heartbreaker.
Ney'lana was also very into learning how to use a knife and a bow and arrow, but she despised the thought of using any sky people weapons.
It's not like she hated when her people did. She just didn't like the thought (or feeling which would remain a secret from her parents) of using sky people weapons.
And Ney'lana, being Ney'lana, convinced her mother to start teaching her early on how to use a knife, bow and arrow, and hand to hand combat, which she was naturally amazing at all.
Ney'lana was very popular amongst the clan, always running around with her little twin sister, trying to find a new adventure to occupy her day with. And while she was running around, she would stop to talk or help the people her age or older.
Ney'lana did NOT have a good relationship with her father anymore. Even though he has proven himself as part of the people and has been accepted into the clan, he still had a lot to learn about the language. And since Neytiri wanted to be the one to teach her daughter's instead of someone else, Jake had to spend his lessons learning from someone else, and if that didn't take up most of his day, he would always volunteer to go out and hunt. So he wasn't around that much, but when he was, he always seemed to pay more attention to Sey'lana than Ney'lana. But that didn't bother her anymore.
Jake would sometimes take his daughters out for a walk. Or at least that's what he would tell Neytiri.
He would take them deep into the forest so he could meet with Quaritch and tell him little things during the day, while he would let the girls run around and play that way they aren't listening.
Quaritch could see the fire behind her magenta eyes. He knew that she would be extremely dangerous and an amazing addition to his military when she is older. He had even discussed this with Jake, who was very hesitant and simply said, "we will see in the future."
------------------------------------------------------------
Sey'lana, on the other hand, was almost the complete opposite of her older twin sister.
Yes, Sey'lana was absolutely beautiful along with her sister, but the clan didn't like her as much. They still adored her and practically worshiped her, but not as much as they did with Ney'lana.
And she didn't mind it.
She was actually happy about it.
While Ney'lana was training to become a warrior or possibly olo'eyktan, like her mother, grandfather, and uncle Tsu'tey (who was the next olo'eyktan), Sey'lana wanted to be a healer amongst her clan, and learn the ways of tsahik from her grandmother and mother, who was to be the next tsahik along Tsu'tey.
