"Look, don't get me wrong, I know there is no tomorrow. All I ask is if this is my last night with you? Hold me like I'm more than just a friend. Give me a memory I can use."

------------------------------------------------------------

Ney'lana's chest felt like it was about to explode. The last thing she remembers is the weird turning feeling in her stomach and her mother reaching out for her.

The young warrior woke up with a loud gasp. She looked around at her surroundings, whipping her head around in every direction. She was lying on the grass in the forest. She knew this place like the back of her hand. It was a little ways out from the clan and home tree, but her and Sey'lana would always travel out there to play.

Her and Sey'lana.

Sey'lana.

She was gone now.

The twins that everyone adored and practically worshiped were gone.

It was only Ney'lana.

She had failed to protect her little sister, failed to keep her safe, and failed to make sure no harm came her way.

Ney'lana's train of thought got cut off when she heard the bright melody of a little girls laughter and water splashing. She stood up from her spot, slowly and quietly walking towards the sound. Her heart started to beat at an awfully fast paste. She was getting more and more nervous with each step. She didn't know who it could have been. It could have been Neytiri, Jake, Tsu'tey, or the sky people.

But she didn't stop walking even at the thought of the villans being the cause of the noise. She felt a pull towards it. It almost felt normal, like she's felt it before.

She stopped behind a tree, putting her hands against it and slowly moving her head to the side, peaking out to see who was there.

When she saw the small blue figure sitting there beside the river, it brought tears to her eyes. She debated whether she should step out of the shadows or just sit and watch Sey'lana, and enjoy the sight of her alive and well.

"I know you're out there sissy."

The words were said so simply. It made Ney'lana's breath hitch and her whole body to freeze. She looked around her, trying to see if this was some messed up trick. She started to break out in a nervous sweat, scared that if she moved her body any closer, Sey'lana would disappear and leave her again.

"Come on out, sissy. I have so much to tell you."

Ney'lana hated the fact that she sounded so happy after everything that had just happened in a single day, Sey'lana was happy? Happy that their father betrayed everyone?Happy that their home was destroyed? Happy that she had died right in front of her sister? Leaving her alone, sad, and afraid, she was happy about it all?

But Ney'lana was also extatic to hear the angelic voice that she wanted so eagerly to fill her ears again.

Ney'lana never understood why the people of her clan favored her over Sey'lana. She always thought that Sey'lana was a saint and should be praised. She thought that eywa radiated off of Sey'lana more than Ney'lana ever did and that even tho they looked indetical, the fact that they still looked different always made Ney'lana think that Sey'lana's young beauty was far greater than hers, especially her alluring eyes.

Ney'lana finally found the strength to walk up to her sister and sit down next to her. Sey'lana was glowing. She looked like her old happy angelic self. And it made Ney'lana put a smile on her face.

"So, what did you want to tell me Sey'sey?"

Now that Ney'lana thought about it and took in that her sister looked like she did before all the chaos started, she thought that she didn't remember anything that had happened.
