Jollín walked through the rooms of the castle and observed several paintings, where one was depicted "Black Viper" and in the remaining eight, other individuals, both male and female
Jollín:*thought* it must be the other members of the Black Moon Order
Entering a room he noticed that the floor was a giant mirror
Jollín:*Thought* Uh, it makes my head spin
As Jollín stepped into the room with the mirrored floor, he couldn't help but feel disoriented. The reflection of the icy walls and towering pillars seemed to multiply endlessly, creating a dizzying effect. He took a deep breath and steadied himself, reminding himself that he couldn't let the illusions of the dark realm sway him.
Jollín: Focus, Jollín. This is just another test.
He cautiously stepped onto the mirrored surface, trying to find his footing. Every movement he made seemed to create ripples of reflections, distorting his perception of the room. He felt as if he was walking on a shifting sea of glass.
The floor began to glow and ice armor emerged from it ready to take him out
Jollín's heart pounded as the ice armor emerged from the mirrored floor. He knew he had to act quickly to defend himself against this new threat. With a swift motion, he summoned a protective barrier of magical energy to shield himself from the attack.
Jollín: "Ice armor, huh? Let's see how it handles a little fire!"
He channeled his magical energy into his staff and unleashed a torrent of flames towards the ice armor. The fire crackled and sizzled as it clashed with the icy defense. The room filled with the clash of elements, the heat of the fire battling against the cold of the ice.
Jollín: "But according to what law of physics does ice not melt in contact with fire? If fire doesn't work, maybe I can find another way to break through."
He surveyed the room, searching for any clue or weakness in the armor. Then, he noticed something peculiar. Each piece of the ice armor seemed to be connected to the mirrored floor, as if it drew power from the very surface he was standing on.
Jollín's observation of the ice armor's connection to the mirrored floor intrigued him. He realized that there must be a reason why the armor drew power from the floor. He thought about the nature of the dark realm and how illusions and tricks had been a recurring theme in his journey so far.
Jollín: "This mirrored floor must be more than just a surface. It's likely part of the illusion, and the ice armor gains strength from it. If I can disrupt that connection, I might have a chance to defeat it."
He considered different ways to break the connection between the armor and the mirrored floor. One option was to attack the floor itself, but he knew that it might not be as simple as it seemed. The dark realm was full of surprises, and he couldn't afford to underestimate its challenges.
Jollín:Maybe trying to break the mirror under me, the armor will stop, but what if I get 7 years of bad luck? Damn, what would Gray do
Then Jollín thought of a conversation between him and Remy
Flashback
Remy: 7 years of bad luck? Nah, it's just an excuse they invented to preserve the more expensive mirrors, I've broken about a dozen in the past and they're still here, it's more or less the same story as "don't take a bath immediately after you finish eating" or on Friday the 13th don't leave the house for any reason because it's an unlucky day" all nonsense that they have invented to scare the children, well, I never believed it
