Remy: Alright class, for the next few days we're going to work with water spells.
Roy: Finally some useful lessons!
Lilian: Yeah, that sounds really good.
Eros: And after that we can make water slide down stairs!
Marcus: Eh, why would anyone want to do that?
Lilian: To have fun.
Roy: We can have water fights and such.
Remy: Or you can try and learn to control the flow. Why do you think I teach you these things? So you can have fun? No. You're training for the future.
Remy walked over to his desk and picked up a cup of coffee, he took a sip, then another.
Eros: Can you drink that in class?
Remy: Why? This is not alcohol, it's just a coffee.
Marcus: What about the water thing?
Remy: Oh yeah. Okay. So the first thing you need to know is the basics. Water magic is the manipulation of a substance, so the most basic of water spells is moving water. We've seen the spell "Aqua puritas" to purify water to make it drinkable, now we're going to look at a slightly more complex one, Aqua pulsum.
Remy put the cup back on his desk and turned to face the class. He pointed his right hand towards the wall.
Remy: Aqua pulsum.
There was a small puff sound, and a blue magic circle appears, then a stream of water came out of it, hitting the wall, making a small stain.
Remy: Now, the second part of this spell is "pulsum", meaning pulse. Basically, you're saying to the water to pulse, not flow. You could use the word "flow", but it wouldn't work. The word "pulse" tells the water to go back and forth.
Remy pointed his hand towards the wall again.
Remy: Aqua pulsum.
Another stream of water came out of the wall, this time however, the stream came out of the same place the last one came out of. It pulsed back and forth.
Remy: This spell can be used for various things. Such as making water jump from place to place. Now, anyone want to try? Miss Dhangrief, come here.
Erika: Yessir.
She stands in front of the class, near the wall.
Remy: Okay, so, you want to point your hand towards the wall. Then say Aqua pulsum.
Erika pointed her hand at the wall and said the spell.
Erika: Aqua pulsum.
The magic circle appeared and the stream of water came out and hit the wall.
Remy: Now say the second part.
Erika: Aqua pulsum.
Remy: No, the first part.
Erika: Oh, aqua pulsum.
Remy: Good. Now the last part.
Erika: Aqua pulsum.
There was a small pause, then the stream of water started pulsing.
Erika: Haha, I did it.
Remy:You can go now, someone else?
Marcus raised his hand.
Remy:Miss Sephora, it's your turn.
Marcus:Hey!
