Chapter 78

The forest echoed with the clash of titans as Roy, now transformed into a colossal, beastly form, battled the Wendigo with unmatched power. His roars shook the very ground they stood on, and his attacks were devastating, driving the Wendigo back with each strike.

Roy's size increased again, becoming larger than the Wendigo itself.

Roy's transformation continued, his size growing exponentially until he towered over the Wendigo, once a fearsome creature, now seemed small and insignificant compared to the monstrous being Roy had become.

With newfound power coursing through his veins, Roy's attacks became even more ferocious. With a precise strike, Roy killed the Wendigo and let out a great roar.

Devoid of any sign of humanity, Roy began to devour the Wendigo.

The team watched in a mixture of awe, horror, and astonishment as Roy, now in his colossal, beastly form, began to devour the defeated creature.

His sharp teeth tore into the creature's flesh, and his primal instincts took over as he feasted on the fallen enemy. The forest was filled with the gruesome sounds of tearing flesh and crunching bones.

Lilian (whispering): This... this is terrifying.

Eros (grimly): It's the beast within him. It's primal, driven by instincts.

Dimai (wide-eyed): I never imagined.

Lilian took courage and approached Roy.

Eros:Lilian, where are you going?!!

Lilian (determined): I have to try. He's still in there somewhere.

Eros (frustrated): Lilian, it's too dangerous! We can't reason with him in this state.

Ignoring Eros's warning shouts, Lilian stepped forward, despite her fear.

Roy sniffed Lilian and shriveled up, growling at her.

Lilian:Roy, it's me, your friend Lilian.

Roy gave a little jerk, but remained shriveled.

Lilian:Hey, it's okay.

Roy's primal instincts wavered for a moment as he heard Lilian's familiar voice.
The girl held out her hand to him but he showed signs of aggression, in fact he approached Lilian in a threatening way, he approached his muzzle but stopped, sniffed Lilian carefully and stepped back, then, incredibly, Roy, instead of growls and roars, let out a very tender meow.

Lilian (surprised): A meow? What...?

Eros (astonished): Did he just... meow?

Dimai (confused): What's happening to him?

Roy approached Lilian and began to purr.

Dimai (amazed): He's purring like a... cat?

Lilian (bewildered): He's... purring? But how?

Eros (slowly understanding): I think... I think he recognizes Lilian.

Dimai:Wait, but if he recognizes her, then does he recognize me too?

Dimai placed himself between Lilian and Roy, but the latter started growling again.

Dimai:(Nervously) Ok, apparently not.

Dimai immediately took off and Roy calmed down again, he approached Lilian and nuzzled her.

Lilian:(chuckle) Come on, stop.

Roy's size began to increase again.

As Roy's size began to increase once more, the team watched with a mixture of curiosity and concern. His transformations were unpredictable, shifting between moments of extreme aggression and surprising tenderness. It was clear that his inner struggle with the beast within him was far from over.
