y/n started a small(ish) youtube channel about a year and a half ago, streaming and making videos daily to attempt to grow her audience. she's made a couple of friends on the platform along the way, somehow including one of her all-time favorite influencers, emma chamberlain.
while on a trip to los angeles to hang out with emma and a few other friends, she meets two people named kalynn and weston koury who share a youtube channel called sinjin drowning. she's seen a couple of their videos before, and is super happy to start hanging out with both of them more since they're also friends with emma.
soon enough y/n finds herself having a bit of a crush on her new friend kalynn, but has a lot of trouble accepting it since neither of them are open about their sexuality on social media, and she doesn't even know if kalynn likes girls?
