Kaori

Hussein had our dog, Sergeant, checked by a police officer.

"Love, Eros' wife is outside." He informed.

"Really?"

He nodded. When I was about to step on the stairs, huge arm encircled around my waist while the other hand is holding my hands.

"You're allowed to go out, honey, but I have to be beside you."

I wrinkled my nose. "Pangit."

"Hi!" magiliw kong bati.

She's holding her two year old son named Cupid.

"Hello," she greeted back.

"Alright." He kissed my temple and let go of my hand.

It's their third day coming here. Eros is teaching Hussein how to handle Sergeant, also the things he should know about the dog.

"Was it hard? Giving birth?" I asked.

"Oo naman," mahinahong sagot nito. "sa labor ako mas nasaktan. Cupid came out of me smoothly."

"Ang galing ng pangalan ni baby. The Mom is Psyche, the Dad is Eros, and your little baby is Cupid. Greek gods?" I chuckled.

"Must be a very great coincidence. In Cupid's part, sinadya talaga naming Cupid ang ipangalan."

"May plano pang dagdagan?"

"Of course! We want Cupid to have siblings. It's lonely not having one. Pero hindi muna siguro ngayon. Gusto ko pang maging hands on kay Cupid muna. Kapag medyo malaki na si Cupid," she answered. "Kamusta naman ang pagbubuntis mo? How's the cravings? Morning sickness?"

"Wala naman masyado. Ice cream and chocolate, iyon lang binabalik-balikan ko. That's the reason why our fridge is always full of those.

I hated Hussein's perfume.

"Yes, that part is the worse.

Do you constantly request food at midnight or very very early in the morning?

"I'm glad my husband is patient with me."

"I'm excited to see my baby," wala sa sariling napangiti ako.

"You will, soon.
