My eyes only darted to that motionless body which was few inches far away from me. I hated it. I hated the way he lays on the bed like he's getting a cozy nap. I took a deep breath and sighed.

Eventhough, it had been few weeks of him laying in the hospital bed. But, it felt like infinity to me. The more the time passed, the more I will have to drift away from him.

A small smile crept in to corners of my lips. Because, he looked so ethereal & ravishing even when he's in a coma.
My smile vanished until the thought came to my mind that I couldn't protect him when he got shot. Maybe this is why, they always said that I'm the weakest and I don't deserve any victories or great positions. Because, I couldn't protect the people that I loved the most.

But, this time I'm not going to let happen something like that...

Like that I was drowned in my thoughts and a voice came near from the door which startled the shit out of me.

" P'Pete, you're still here?" Macau asked.

" Ohh, Hi Mac." I smiled. " Umm, my heart doesn't let me to leave him until he wakes up."

Macau grinned and said. "Look at your eyebags, you look like you're the one who got shot. So, please get some rest phi."

I was astonished by hearing this kid. "No no Mac, don't worry about my face. Also, you're right. I wish I was the one who got shot instead of your brother".

" P'Pete, it's all happened for a reason. My brother will not be happy by hearing such things from you. Also, doctors assured that he will wake up soon" Macau said contentedly.

I smiled, "Thanks Mac. By the way, you were with Venice right? How is he doing? Did he cry?"

" Yeah, he did some grudges about you not being there with him. Anyway, I succeeded to put him to sleep. You know what, he's so cute when he sleeps" The younger one said cheerfully.

"Mac, thank you so much for being this strong for your two brothers." Macau smiled goofily. Then, I went near him and held his shoulders.

"Umm.. I wanna have a talk with you.. right now.."

Macau's face went in to a serious mode. Then suddenly, he grabbed me to the couch and we both sat down. " What is it Phi? You know that you can tell me anything."

I felt slightly relaxed at the thought of him being ready to listen to me.

"It's that you know my life is so complicated" I whispered.

"Complicated by being the head bodyguard of that lunatic Tankhun?"

"Yeah.. No.. I mean.." I sighed. "Macau, there are many things that you or others don't know about me. My life is so complicated. I mean it, It is getting more complicated as the time passes" I looked at his face to examine what he's thinking.

Then he suddenly, "Ohhh, my brother can help you. I will tell my hia to give you money" He said cheerly as if he solved all of my problems.

I chuckled at his cuteness. "Mac, it's not about money. It's about my personal life
and I need your help"

" My help?.... I will do anything for you P'Pete. "

" Mac, I have these problems in my life that I myself must handle and I want you and your brother to stay away from those problems. In other words, I will have to leave you both. "

" What?..What do you mean?.. Aren't you in love with my brother? a-and wh- where are you going? Whe-"

I interrupted him because he started to panic. I held him on to his shoulders. "Macau, please calm down. Come back to
your senses." He started to calm himself little by little.

" Yeah, that's ma boy. " I looked at him in the eyes. Then, I started to talk. " Listen to me carefully, I have to do this or else I won't be able to protect both of you."

" But Phi, who's gonna hurt us? " Macau asked like a little child.

" Macau, that's all I can say to you for now. I'm sorry for doing this." I told him trying not to burst in to tears.

" Okay Phi. But- "

" Mac, I told you it's enough." Macau looked at me so dejectedly."Mac, I still didn't ask my help from you."

" Oh yeah Phi, tell me"

" After my absence, you will have to motivate your brother to forget about me."

" You mean to motivate him to move on from you? I don't know how did you guys met or I don't know when something like thid started between you guys. But I know that my brother is crazily in love with you. So, I- I don't wanna hurt my brother by doing that."

I again sighed for the nth time. " Mac, please... You- you said that you're gonna help me. It's for your brother's own good."

" P'Pete, it is so frustrating. But, I know that you have your own reasons. "

" So? " His face looked so conflicted.

" So, I will help you with that." He said smiling.

" Thank you so much Mac. Also, don't tell about this to your brother."

" Okay Phi. But, promise that you're not gonna hurt yourself." Macau said worriedly.

" I promise, I won't let myself hurt." I lied. All the things I said to him so far are the truth. But, I know I will have to break his promise to protect everyone.

Macau hugged me after hearing my answer. I also hugged him. Both of us never wanted broke the hug, because we knew that we wanted both of our warmth to our hearts. But, we had to back away from eachother after hearing some whimpers in the middle of the room.

Macau looked at the source of the sound. I also followed my eyes to the sound. My heart clenched so hard by seeing the scenario infront of me.
