After the hectic travel from Australia to US, I finally made it! I successfully arrived so I could start my education as soon as possible.

   It's been around 2 weeks since my arrival and ever since then I have been living at a nearby apartment.

Guess I could say it took some time for me to get used to the new environment but I am actually loving this place already!

Now here I am standing in front of the campus entrance.... Ready to join the University of Harvard.

This is will be my first year here, and not gonna lie I am hella nervous. Mainly because the students have already started the curriculum for sophomore year and I am joining a couple months late. I'm sure it'll be a little rough being the new kid but I'll be all right. Right ?

I made my way into the main office hoping to get registered in. I had to wait for 15 long minutes until the receptionist came by. I mean it is busy place.

"Welcome miss! How may I help you?" She asked in formal tone.

"Umm hey, I am Kim Y/n and I am joining the school today. The forms and all have been submitted through the website, if you need that." I replied back smiling.

"Ohhh right, I have everything prepared, so now if you'll follow me, I will guide you to your dorm. Also the classes will begin tomorrow for you." She spoke while starting to walk already.

"Oh Ok, thanks for letting me know." I said, following her route.

After showing me around the campus's library, park, common area, and classrooms she brought me in front of one of the dorm buildings.

She explained how I will have roommates to share the dorm with and finally told me the room number. Block 2, door 107.

"Thank you so much for your help!" I thanked her one last time before making my way up the subtlety decorated building.

"105...106....ah 107," I approached the door knocking on it a couple times.

I could hear distant sounds of chatter when suddenly the door flung open, leaving me a little surprised for a second.

In front of me was a really good looking guy dressed in comfy clothes showing off a cute bunny smile. Just seeing him made my lips curve into a slight smile as well.

"Oh hey! You must be our new roomie !" He spoke continuing to gladly smile at me.

"Yeah, I am Y/n, and today is my first day here."

"Great! Well come on inside, and we can introduce each other. BTW I am Jungkook," he welcomed me warmly, taking me inside the neat and organized dorm room.

"Wow.. this place is really tidy looking," I quietly mumbled to myself.

The walls of the living room area painted into a light beige color with a matching khaki brown couch. There were a couple decorative fake shrub plants in the corners of the room giving it an aesthetic look. This is amazing. I thought while examining the rest of the hall. I moved my eyes towards the center of the room, as not 5, not 6, but 7 people capture my attention!!

"7 ROOMMATES!!!!!" I practically yelled out due to the shock of seeing like so many people sitting casually on the sofa.

"Oh god! No thankfully it's not 7 people," A girl with light brown hair spoke in a reassuring tone laughing awkwardly, "Its actually 4 people per room so some us live next door. We were just hanging out together, wanting to meet you."

"Ohhhh that makes sense, but for a second I was like shook thinking I had to share the place with so many people," I laughed back.

"Anyways guys let's introduce ourselves one by one," Jungkook pitched in.

"Hii! I am Jisoo and let me just say that we are gonna become super close friends cause I already love your personality!" She said giving me a warm smile and a big hug.

"Wow Jisoo I am gladly excepting your friend request!" I said in a playful voice hugging her back tightly. She seems like the person who attaches to people very quickly and witnessing her lively aura I knew our vibes matched.

"Ok ok enough with the girl drama, Im Taehyung."The boy dressed in jogger pants and a oversized shirt with rich black hair spoke. He shot me a short boxy smile.

"Hi there bro!" I said sounding friendly.

"Next, hello I am Sana!" The girl from earlier with brown hair spoke.

"Heyyyy! It's Hoseok here but you can call me hobi!" He said with a wide smile as if he was radiating positive energy.

"Hii! I am Rosé" the girl with light faded pink hair spoke" wow her style is awesome.

"And lastly, I am Choi Soobin" He said, the tallest guy in the group currently.

"Wow! It's so nice to meet you all. Honestly, even though this my first impression, I feel like y'all are really nice people. And thank you..for welcoming me," I mentioned in a thankful voice.

The next few hours flew by as everyone was busy chatting with each other. It was so much fun getting to know to the others. I asked many questions about the school and everything so I could be more knowledgeable. But I also got a chance to understand everybody's personality. Jungkook was a really chill and sweet guy. He was literally doing a such a good job making me feel comfortable. Then Taehyung, he seemed a little distant at first but I came to know that he was a crackhead just like me. Jisoo... I don't even know where to start, she's like the other half of me. Sana is super sweet and considerate. Rosé is also really fun to talk with and her friendly vibes brought us closer together. Soobin is sort of giving impressions of a coldie but I totally understand. Maybe it's just takes time. On the other hand Hobi is the complete opposite. His contagious smile is everything.

Mmm I guess first day wasn't so bad!
