A/N POV:

The lively preparations in Y/n's dorm room were filled with laughter and excitement. Jisoo held up a sleek black dress with a glint of mischief in her eyes. "Y/n, this dress screams 'unforgettable entrance.' You're going to make everyone stop and stare!"

Y/n couldn't help but smile at Jisoo's enthusiasm. "I trust your judgment, Jisoo. Let's go for it."

We both were getting ready for the upcoming grand reunion party happening at the school. Everyone was invited and it was kind of mandatory to go. I honestly enjoy parties for the most part, as long as there food and friends!

Tae, in his laid-back manner, strummed his guitar, creating a carefree melody that added to the vibrant atmosphere. Jungkook leaned against the wall, his eyes gleaming with playful anticipation. "You're going to own that party, Y/n."

Those both, of course, were dressed quite appropriately for the party. Jungkook was styled in a loose satin blue dress shirt with tight, black skinny jeans. An elegant yet classy choice. Taehyung was dressed up in a Gucci, sparkly button up shirt, with grey pants to match. Their fashion choices were absolutely no joke!

TIME SKIP:

Fast forward to the grand reunion party, the venue alive with the energy of reconnection. Y/n, dressed in her chosen outfit, entered the lively crowd with her friends. The health sciences department had transformed the venue into a celebration of achievements and shared memories.

Inside, laughter and the hum of conversation surrounded her. Y/n danced and mingled, sharing tales of academic struggles and triumphs with her classmates and friends. The atmosphere was electric, and Y/n found herself completely immersed in the whole chill and carefree evening.

Meanwhile, Jimin, uninterested in the party, lingered in the welcome hall. The rhythmic beats and laughter served as a distant soundtrack to his solitude.

He never liked parties. Strongly disliked them would be a better statement. All the loud voices, cheering, upbeat music, dance, and drinks were not his cup of tea. He really tried to avoid this party by making an excuse of feeling nauseous and sick, even refusing to the president of the department, but it wasn't of any help. Knowing his friends, they would tag him along into anything, even if it meant that the rest of them would be inside partying while Jimin was stranded out.

He was joblessly, stirring around, mentally blocking out the noise while occasionally checking his phone.

Unexpectedly, Y/n emerged from the bustling crowd, a glass of red wine in hand. She came by to attend a call, knowing the welcome hall area was the quietest place available. In a moment of fate, the velvety red carpet beneath their legs and the unstable heels acted as an obstacle, as Y/n unknowingly tripped over. Her body collided with Jimin, and the red liquid spilled onto his pristine white shirt.

"Shit, I'm so sorry!" Y/n exclaimed, her eyes widening in embarrassment.

Jimin's frustration was immediate and palpable. He looked down at the stained shirt, his jaw clenching in annoyance. "WHAT THE HELL!?!? Seriously? Watch where you're going, bich! Now you literally ruined my shirt!!

Y/n, in a apologetic tone, attempted to salvage the situation. "I didn't mean to. It wasn't even my fault, I was casually walking but the carpet tripped me over! Here, let me help you clean it up."

Jimin shot her a withering glare. "I can take care of it myself. Just stay away."

Determined to make amends, Y/n insisted, "No, I insist. I feel terrible about this. Let me help."

They retreated to the bathroom, the dim lights casting shadows on Jimin's irritated expression. Y/n grabbed a handful of paper towels and extended them toward him, her eyes reflecting genuine remorse.
