Drew furiously slammed his locker shut, he still couldn't believe Jake would choose them pathetic freaks over his own best friend, it wasn't fair! He knew Jake should have chosen him over the mindless club, who were just using him. He looked down in anger, trying to recall what class he had next, until he heard a different voice speaking out to him.
"Uh- Hey? Are you okay, you look really mad..." A random student, Drew wasn't familiar with asked him, with a hint of worry on her face.
Drew stayed silent, he scanned her face, trying to remember if he knew her or not, since he was quiet popular so he knew many people across school, he looked at her long, navy hair that was put neatly in a high ponytail, and her bright, sky blue eyes that looked at his miserable self. Before the mysterious girl got suspicious, Drew scoffed in an aggressive tone, "I don't need your pity."
The girl giggled, making Drew raise an eyebrow, he was beyond confused, was this girl crazy, why is she laughing to herself? Did he say something funny...?
"What do you mean, you don't need my pity? I don't even know what happened, I was just trying to be nice." The teenager continued to giggle, making Drew's cheeks light up red with embarrassment.
"Well, in that case. I don't need your help." Drew rolled his eyes and tried to walk off, "Why don't you head to class, they start in 10 minutes..."
"Well that's enough time to talk! My name's Stacy, what's your name, I don't think I know it, even though I recognise your face..." The high schooler beamed, following Drew in a still bubbly attitude.
The magenta haired boy stopped dead in his tracks and gulped, "Stacy... The one who kissed that drummer freak...?"
Stacy hid her face, "Shut up, it's embarrassing. I regret it now. I just didn't know how to ask him out."
Drew tried to hold back his laughter and he met eyes with Stacy and scoffed, "Well, for your information, I don't kiss random people in the English classroom, so shove off."
Stacy began to feel hurt, but she sighed, "I don't want to kiss you... Now just tell me your name...?"
"Ugh, if you need to know so badly, it's Drew." The dark brown eyed teen groaned, "Now leave me alone, I'm not in the mood to talk to anyone."
"OOOH! You're the guy who dumped Jake as a friend, because he joined the club. Bit petty if you ask me!" Stacy beamed, as she stared at Drew, who grew even more annoyed.
"Petty? Yeah right. He had it coming from the moment he started hanging out with them assholes." Drew angrily ranted, suddenly he started to continue walking, only making Stacy follow him.
"You know... I heard about the tension between you and the club from friends, I think you need to look at things differently... I don't think you realise how talented the club is. I saw them at the competition!" Stacy explained, trying to cheer the angsty teen next to her up.
Drew stayed silent as he continued to walk beside her, he didn't want to agree with her, but he still listened to her, he tried to excuse it on the fact that she wouldn't shut up if he interrupted her anyways, so there was no point in trying.
"I know its hard for friends to drift away, but you still need to respect their choices, and you need to respect the club, maybe the reason Jake hung out with the club more and more, is because they didn't try and bully you and the other's, or cause drama, but you guys did to them, maybe Jake just felt uncomfortable...? I know you might not agree, but just think about it... Maybe you might learn something." Stacy exclaimed further, making Drew's eyes widen, he still fought the idea of agreeing with her, but he wasn't sure, what if she was right?
Drew stayed quiet the rest of his and Stacy's walk to class, it wasn't long until Drew reached his classroom and he muttered, "Uh- This is my class."
Stacy smiled, "Well it was nice meeting you Drew, also, about Zoey, you didn't deserve that. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone, not even my worst enemy. Just know there are other people who will treat you better out there, and you will become happier."
Drew felt shocked, he respected the kindness in the girl, he felt his face creep in a smile and he said, "Bye."
Stacy looked back and laughed, "At Least I got you smiling."
Drew immediately gasped and returned to his original face, a moody and depressed one, he walked into his class and sat down, he thought about Stacy and felt a sense of happiness within him. She was really nice, and maybe she was right, maybe he was a bad friend... He thought harder and decided to talk to the girl again when he saw her again. Maybe this could be a new start to him, basically everyone from his life was gone, apart from Liam and Henry, so Stacy could lead him to a better life. As much as he hated to admit it, she was a good influence on him, and could change him for the better.
