*Narrator POV*

Izuku was in pure darkness laying on a murky water-like surface with a tired expression. He groaned as he sat up looking into the darkness around him. 

Izuku: Where am I?

???: We are in your soul...son.

Izuku turned around and saw a man wearing kage robes with black edging on them. He also had messy black hair with obsidian eyes. Izuku immediately recognized him causing him to stand up fully and a little straighter.

Hisashi: I had put a portion of my chakra into you before I died. I had planned for my vestige to appear to you once you unlocked your Mangekyou but something blocked that from happening. Yet, since the right requirements were made I was still here waiting for you to appear and unfortunately had to watch all of the chaos you caused. That last absorption you did allowed me to use that excess chakra to reach you finally. I wanted to have a heartfelt introduction, however, now all I can say is...why?

Izuku didn't respond as he just stared at his father with a tired look that didn't have a hint of emotion behind it. Izuku sighed as he finally mustered up a response.

Izuku: At first I just wanted to do something, anything that would make people look at me as something great or anything else but a stain on my surrogate family's name. So, once I learned that I was actually an Uchiha, the reason I had been scorned all that time. I felt lost, so at first, I tried to believe maybe everyone is right maybe the Uchiha actually was as bad as everyone said. Then I learned the cold truth of the situation and that made my confusion even worse, do I betray everything I know for the memory of what could have been with you or stay ignorant and go about my life knowing that everything around me was a lie?

Izuku walked around the black soul as he monologues while his paternal father just stared at him.

Izuku: So, I took the coward's way out, betraying everything for not even a decent reason...running away from the question...what is my purpose? I had hoped I would find it while I was out there, using the Tailed Beasts as an excuse for my absence. To be honest, I never really cared if I freed them or not, I saw it more as a side quest to complete while I figured out my main quest. I'll be honest, I lost myself while doing that and a new battle had brewed inside me, the Light vs. the Darkness. The Darkness was winning until Eri came into my life, I thought finally I found my true purpose....being a father. Once she was gone though there was nothing to stop that Darkness. Then I was enlightened, I finally found my purpose.

Hisashi couldn't help but back up as Izuku's sclera in his eyes became completely back as a blissful smile crossed his face.

Izuku: My true purpose is Power. I am the embodiment of what Power is father. I have no more limits, my strength is the definition of boundless. This Power is what I was always meant to gain, this was my destiny. You should be proud Father, for helping in creating the strongest being in this universe.

Hisashi: What's the point of all that power if you're using it for nothing but chaos and greed? That's not how the Uchiha work! Please, my son, stop this madness and just stop!

Izuku: Power will always cause Chaos, Father. Lack of Power will cause Chaos, and excess Power will cause Chaos.  Maintaining that balance is pointless in this world or in any world, because of one factor, people. People will always be unsatisfied no matter the situation, too strong they are unsatisfied, too weak they are unsatisfied, just right they are unsatisfied. This is why I shall be the only one to have any Power, true Power can only exist if it is unmatched and unrivaled. That is my ninja way, Father, now you may rest.
