Chapter 5 : A Kiss To Remember

As Selena entered Asher's room, her irritation grew upon finding the alarms still blaring. She could see him lying there, half-asleep, and muttered under her breath about his lack of responsibility. As she approached to turn off the alarms, Asher's muttered the name "Melody" in his sleep. Confused, Selena watched as he reached out and pulled her closer, planting an unexpected kiss on her lips. Shocked and taken aback, Selena quickly pulled away, her heart pounding in her chest then kicks him in the stomach

"Who do you think I am?" Selena exclaimed, her face flushing with embarrassment and anger. Without waiting for an answer, she swiftly turned and rushed out of the room, seeking solace in her own space. She hid herself in her room, trying to process what had just happened.

"Oh my God... Me and him just...he was my very first kiss," Selena murmured, her thoughts swirling with confusion.

Meanwhile, Asher opened the door and walked out of his room, completely oblivious to the recent incident. He was focused on his own morning routine and didn't recall the events that had transpired while he was half asleep.

Feeling a mixture of emotions, Selena armed herself with a pillow when she saw Asher heading towards her room. As he entered, she began hitting him with the pillow, urging him to leave and attempting to erase the awkwardness of the situation. But to her dismay, it seemed like Asher had no recollection of what had happened earlier.

During breakfast, Selena couldn't bring herself to face Asher, so she stayed in her room. Eventually, she mustered the courage to leave and found Asher still in the apartment. To avoid any uncomfortable confrontation, she decided to act as if he couldn't see her, hiding her face behind the pillow and attempting to leave unnoticed.

However, just as she was about to step out of the apartment, Selena tripped over something, almost falling. Asher called out to her, teasingly saying, "Hey, you, don't tell me after all this time you're concerned about living with a boy. Are you fantasizing about me making the first move on you?"

Blushing furiously, Selena sat there silently, nodding in response to his question. Asher chuckled and said, "Don't worry, I have no interest in you. And like I said before, don't talk to me at school." 

Selena decided it was better to leave the conversation at that and continued on her way to school. They chose to walk separately. Lost in her thoughts and distracted by the morning's events, Selena took a wrong turn, finding herself disoriented in an unfamiliar neighborhood.

In the midst of a regular school day, Leon and Mari were engaged in a lively conversation when Mari received a message from Selena. She looked at her phone and read Selena's frantic message about getting lost. Worry creased her forehead, and she quickly shared the news with Leon.

"Oh no, Selena got lost? We should go find her," Leon said with concern.

As they were about to set out to locate Selena, they suddenly heard a commotion outside the classroom. To their surprise, Selena came rushing in, panting, with a dog on her heels. The sight was both amusing and relieving as Selena finally found her way to school.

All three of them decided to have lunch together, eager to catch up after their morning adventures. As they dug into their meals, Mari suddenly got an idea and grabbed Selena's arm, pulling her towards Asher's classroom.

"Let's go watch Asher and talk about him," Mari mischievously.

Walking through the halls, Selena couldn't help but voice her thoughts. "Don't you think he has a girlfriend?" she asked.

Mari looked surprised. "Really? Who told you that?" she inquired.

Selena thought back to the morning incident with the accidental kiss and replied, "Well, it's just a hunch."
