Morning arrived, and it was Asher and Felix who found themselves awake first. A sense of tension hung in the air, and Felix's determination to address the situation led him to pull Asher aside, seeking a private conversation.

In hushed tones, Felix broached the subject that had been weighing on his mind. "I need to talk to you, Asher," he began, his voice carrying a mix of seriousness and concern. They stepped outside, away from prying ears, to discuss matters candidly.

Felix's directness didn't waver as he questioned Asher's feelings. "You like Melody, don't you?" he asked, his words cutting through the tension. Asher's response was curt, defensive even. "It's not your business."

Felix's frustration flared, his emotions bubbling to the surface. "I really don't care who you like," he retorted, his tone firm. "But I won't stand by and watch Selena get hurt by you." His words were laced with a protective quality, a clear indication of his feelings towards Selena.

"We're not like that," Asher's defense rang hollow in Felix's ears, and his anger escalated. In a swift motion, Felix seized Asher's jacket, his grip tight as he yelled, "Then why the hell won't you tell her that? Don't you dare take this lightly." The intensity of Felix's emotions was evident, his frustration at the situation apparent.

Asher's resistance was evident as he pushed Felix's arm off him, the tension between them palpable. Felix turned away and walked off, leaving Asher to his own thoughts. The weight of the conversation lingered, the impact of their exchange sinking in for both of them.

Meanwhile, Selena stirred from her sleep, drawn to the sound of knocking at the door. Her confusion was palpable when she opened the door to find a man she didn't recognize, a sense of mystery and apprehension hanging in the air.

The man says "Thank you for taking care of my brother. I'm Max, Asher's older brother," leaving Selena shocked. She blinked in surprise, her mind racing to process the unexpected introduction.

Selena opened the door, allowing Max to enter their apartment. He greeted her with a small smile before taking a seat in the common room. Selena followed him, shutting the door behind her.

"Melody is still asleep, and Asher already went out," Selena informed Max as they took their seats.

Max nodded, his expression understanding. "Don't worry, it's my fault for suddenly dropping in. I've been busy with work, so I couldn't visit. But I have a day off today, so I thought I'd stop by."

As they began to talk, the apartment door swung open, and Asher walked in. His eyes widened slightly upon seeing Max, a mixture of surprise and something else fleeting across his features.

"Hey," Asher greeted with a nod, his tone casual.

Max looked at Asher, his expression more serious. "Asher, we should talk. I'm your older brother, Asher. I worry about you."

Asher's response was curt. "You don't need to."

Before the conversation could go any further, the bedroom door creaked open, and Melody emerged. Her voice was hushed, indicating that she had just woken up. "Could you guys keep it down?"

However, the atmosphere in the room quickly shifted as Melody's tone took on an accusatory edge. "From what I heard, you couldn't care less about me. You're a liar. You've been meeting your former girlfriend."

Without hesitation, she flung her wedding ring at Asher, a gesture filled with anger and disappointment. Selena managed to catch the ring, her eyes widening in shock.

Max attempted to intervene trying to explain

But Melody was relentless, her voice laced with hurt. "Is that why you and your ex have been planning a vacation?" With swift movements, she pulled out her phone and displayed a picture that her friend had sent her – a picture of Max and his ex together.
