Chapter 3

Hunters second day at blight manor
3rd person pov-
Hunter and Edric spent the whole morning talking to each other and getting to know one another. Of course Hunter was not ready to tell Edric everything but he answered some questions. Edric respected that Hunter did not want to talk much about his past life so he tried not to ask personal questions. "What's your favourite colour" Edric questioned

"A month ago I would have said gold." Hunter said " but know I would say red because I guess, flapjack. He changed my life for the better and he is I guess my best friend." Hunter smiled

"Uuuhhhh... your answer is deep i was just going to say yellow but now I don't even know" Hunter laughed as Edric said that. "Well I think I have to be off if I miss the boiling isles history class again the teacher will have a talk with my parents. If that happens I would be grounded for a month." He said laughing. Edric got up and opened the door. "If you get hungry there are snacks around the room," He then paused " and please have a nap we went to bed at ten and you tell me you got up at one. You need sleep" he finally left.

Hunter looks around the room bored and restless by now he would have already run 4 kilometres because he would have been chasing people or 'wild witches' down. Edric did tell the blonde that his parents were on a business trip, and that hunter can wander around where he wants. So hunter decided that he was going on a run around in the forest. The human would be at school so he won't run into her. She would surely judge hunter for not even being made of flesh... as hunter judged himself. Hunter stopped thinking about the night so he won't have another panic attack

The forest actually is very peaceful he thought as he ran flapjack is in his hair of course. Hunter never leaves anywhere without him. Hunter suddenly hears his name. "Hunter. Hunter. where are you." the voice said. Hunter looks over the bush and sees the person he did not expect to see.

She was looking for him. Isn't she supposed to be at school. Classic Luz always coming when you least want her. Hunter watches her look for him from afar. 'You should tell her you are here' flapjack tweets at him.

"No. She probably wants to take me back" hunter whispered with a bit of distress in his voice. Luz looks as if he can't hear him. Good.

'You know she wouldn't' he tweeted back.

"I don't even know what I know anymore" he exclaimed "but anyway I'm not ready. She probably hates me" Flapjack looked at him with pity. "I don't need your pity" Hunter said as he gets up and started to walk away. Flap stayed behind for a few seconds and then he leaves with me.

Luz is searching for hunter as she spent all day yesterday doing she was resting this morning and is now continuing the search. She hears twigs break behind her then a twerp from a familier bird... Flapjack. That means hunter is hear she is about to turn when she hears his voice talking to the bird "No. She probably wants to take me back" he said. Luz's eyes start to tear up a bit. Is that what he thinks. Flapjack said something. "I don't even know what I know anymore" he said a bit louder without realising."but anyway I'm not ready. She probably hates me" he continued. Flapjack must have given him a sympathetic glance because he finished by saying that he does not need flapjacks pity.

Then Luz heard retreating footsteps and turns to see him walking away flapjack looks at me then follows the sad but bad boy. Luz runs after them.

"Hunter. Please stop." Hunter paused

Hunter turns around to look into Luz's sad eyes. 'Why are there tears in her eyes' he thought. 'Maybe she feels guilty because she is going to hand him in' the voice in the back of his head said. He looked at her for a second more then grabs flapjack in staff form and flys away

'He really believes that she hates him, or that she wants to turn him in.' Luz thought as she watched him fly away. Hunters eyes seemed to glitter with one thing... fear. He was afraid of Luz. Some tears escape as I watch the sky. Eda found Luz after a few minutes "are you thinking about the night."she said then gives her a hug "Don't worry we'll find him"
