Megatronus had everyone's names, experiences and other basic necessities down. He even knew their hobbies if they bothered. Ratchet hasn't changed much. If anything he only got grumpier. And easy to scare. Sometimes he felt bad because it was probably due to the ptsd Gigawatt has caused but sometimes it made him giggle like a sparkling when Ratchet spewed curses after he realized it was only Megatronus, his ally. Orion however changed a lot. Even his name. He's not Orion anymore but Optimus fragging Prime. He's a Prime! Megatronus felt a surge of pride. His little friend Orion now a large, strong Prime! He almost cried but was able to hold back tears. He was good at doing that. The blue femmes name was Arcee, and the creature or as they call it, a human, is named Jack. There are other humans with Autobot partners too. Miko, the colourful one is partner with the large green Mech called Bulkhead. They're loyal to each other and their wrecker brothers and sisters. It's admirable and also wholesome, how the humans care so much for their Autobot friends. The smallest human was partnered with the smallest bot besides the two wheeler, Bumblebee. That humans name was Rafael or Raf as a preference. The two were nervous around him which he totally understood and felt no bitterness, only pity. Gigawatt removed the spunky scouts voice box harshly. Ratchet still bears guilt for not being able to fix it. When Ratchet said that Megatronus had to visibly restrain himself from shaking the medic. He's lucky to be communicating at all dammit! Your work did wonders! The other two humans, Agent Fowler and June Darby are older than the partnered humans. The humans are divided into age classes, the simplest being "children" and "adults". Agent Fowler worked for the human government, which was different yet just as prickly as Cybertron's government. But they weren't allowed slaves so he supposed it was much better here. Perhaps his species could learn something from them. Fowler keeps their secrecy so no civilians can get involved. Meagtronus also liked that. Then there was June, Jacks mother. Biological mother at that. He can see the resemblance. She is a doctor and she fears him too. But she always has a worried smell to her so he supposed he shouldn't judge. Perhaps it's in her nature.
As much as he enjoyed learning about earth and his new team, he still missed Soundwave. He must be alive. He didn't want to think of the possibility that he was gone. Soundwave couldn't be dead. Realistically he was simply too valuable. Also if he were to suddenly go against 'Megatron' it would seem suspicious. So he must be alive. Megatronus sat away from the vast chambers where his friends stood. He had his knees curled up to his chest as one had was held out to tap away at a floating mini data pad. He needed a plan. Suddenly he heard tiny footsteps. Footsteps of a human.
"Whatcha up to, big guy?"
It was Miko, the colourful female human. She looked at him with hands on her hips. Her eyes were wide and bright with curiosity.
"I'm trying to plan out how I'm going to get my friend back,"
He answered.
"Did you tell Optimus and the others of your plan? If it's even done,"
"Not yet. But I have mentioned getting Soundwave but they are asking me to wait. I think I've waited long enough. Does more than a few millennia seem like enough time?"
He didn't mean to sound so angry but he did. He was still bitter over everything.
"So you're going to try and sneak in?"
"I don't have the coordinates and I don't know how to work the groundbridge. I'm trying to find another way,"
He blinked suddenly, realizing he could be spilling way too much.
"You won't tell will you?"
The girl gave him a mischievous grin. He didn't like that. He got nervous but she spoke once more.
"I know a way there. I see how they work the groundbridge. I can take you back to that cave. The cave is still connected to the ship, or so Ratchet has said. But I'll only do it on one condition,"
Megatronus turned and crouched down into a begging bow.
"I'll do anything please. I need to at least see if he's ok,"
He looked up from the floor and Miko's grin only seemed to grow. He now had a bad feeling that he had just shaken hands with Unicron.
"You have to take me with you,"
