Til all are one

Megatronus stepped out of the bridge in synchronized steps with his slender comrade. They entered the communication center and control room. Gigawatt was already waiting for them casually, his back facing them and his servos folded neatly behind him. He turned with hatred in his optics but bore a calm expression.
"So you're still alive. Stealing my belongings as well, I see,"
Rage boiled in Megatronus' tanks. Gigawatt knew exactly what buttons to press to cause him to react explosively. It was like he had labeled them and had a manual of formulations in the back of his sick mind.
"Soundwave belongs to no one, you glitch! You traitor! Why would you do this?! You were one of us!"
Gigawatt chuckled and looked down upon Megatronus.
"How naive. We are not the same. We may have been slaves but let's make it clear. I am above you because I won't walk on eggshells for anyone. I won't bend or compromise. Just like Terminus told us, isn't that right?"
He grinned his sharp denta at him. Megatronus lunged for him with a roar but Gigawatt blocked his punch and sliced him backwards. Megatronus slid and barely held his footing. Soundwave took a step forward and thrust out his tentacles. Megatronus hadn't noticed Laserbeak being released. Gigawatt grabbed Soundwaves tentacles and Megatronus' tanks roiled when he heard them crunch under the warlord's grip. As Gigawatt tore Soundwave close, Megatronus could practically hear the wires snapping in the data cables. Laserbeak appeared behind Gigawatt and fired a few times at his back. When the motion distracted Gigawatt, Soundwave kicked him in the tanks but was punished by being thrown at Laserbeak. Megatronus dashed forward and tackled Gigawatt as Soundwave was hoisted. Soundwave tumbled as Gigawatt and Megatronus rolled a few times over the cold, purple floor.
Soundwave tried to regain his composure and ensure that Laserbeak was alright. The minicon chittered pitifully and sparks flew from the damaged wing. Meanwhile, Gigawatt was able to roll on top of Megatronus and slammed his fists into Megatronus' face. Energon streaked down from where the metal of his faceplates split like tears. Megatronus was able to rip up his arm and fire his fusion cannon directly into Gigawatts chest. Soundwave set Lasberbeak aside to be safe and sent a flying kick to the back of Gigawatts copied bucket shaped helm. Gigawatt grunted and lept off Megatronus. The faceless mech ran forward while Megatronus regained his footing and wiped the dripping, sticky energon off his faceplates. Blue liquid dripped onto the floor and glowed ever so slightly. Gigawatt finally charged his fusion cannon for the first time since they started fighting and shot several times at Soundwave but the slender Cybertronian was able to dodge every single purple beam of gunfire. Soundwave kicked Gigawatt across the face and jabbed his tanks several swift times while Gigawatt was stunned. Dark energon started to leak from Gigawatts eyes and the stench itself was nauseating. Soundwave was punched back and sent crashing into the wall. He barely rolled out of the way of another series of gunfire.
Megatronus shot at Gigawatts servo that had the cannon aimed at Soundwave and glared at the mech who stole his identity. Gigawatt then repositioned his arm and now pointed the fusion cannon at him instead. Megatronus dodged again and again. The cannon depleted energy, as it did for every Cybertronian but a fusion cannon had more strength and endurance so there was no hope of getting it to overheat and stop it. Megatronus unsheathed his sword and ran forward, parrying the gunfire now. He jumped and slammed the sword down and almost struck him down but Gigawatt unsheathed his sword just in time and blocked it. Megatronus reacted quickly in return and swung his sword another time, following another though each slash was blocked by the other. Energon stained their faceplates like lifeblood tears as they slashed and blocked at each other. Then Gigawatt thrust his sword deep into the tanks off Megatronus, nearly piercing him fully. Megatronus choked and energon dripped from his intake. Gigawatt lifted him off the ground with his sword still deep in Megatronus' organs. Soundwave screamed Megatronus' name and tried to help him but Gigawatt tossed Megatronus at Soundwave and sent them crashing into the wall. Gigawatt vented heavily as he stepped closer. Megatronus strained but stood anyways.
"You've still got some spunk in you but you're weak and always were. Thinking you could gain peace without the proper means. I'm sure Terminus would weep like a widow because of you,"
Megatronus lunged forward and slashed Gigawatt across the chest, causing a thick line of dark energon. Gigawatt hissed and grabbed Megatronus by the neck and lifted him. Megatronus roared in fury and swung his sword down and sliced Gigawatts arm clean off. Dark energon spurted everywhere and the vapor made Megatronus dizzy. Soundwave slammed his tentacles forwards and sliced at Gigawatt. Megatronus was filled with a new rush of adrenaline and determination. He ran forward with a roar as Gigawatt lifted his arm to block him.
Soundwave pulled the raised arm down.
And Megatronus sliced Gigawatts head clean off.
Megatronus dropped to his knees. He heard the Autobots approaching. He felt weak from the dark energon everywhere and from his own energon on the floor. He turned around and his spark dropped when he saw Soundwave cradling Laserbeak. His best friend's face has a few cracks in it which pained his spark. But they had won! Megatronus used his remaining strength to grin. The throbbing pain beneath his chassis was numbing to a hazy throb.
"Til all are one,"

Megatronus awoke in the Nemesis med bay, the pleasant dark purple making the light easy on his optics. His favourite colour had always been purple and Gigawatt wasn't going to change that for him. He tried to sit up but Ratchet forced him back down.
"Nah ah ah! You're not moving until you're fully recovered! That was a high exposure of your deep open wounds to dark energon vapors. You will rest until I deem you healed enough to sit,"
"Soundwave.. and Laserbeak! Is everyone alright? Is he... Is he really dead?"
Megatronus heard Lasberbeak chitter and drift around Megatronus' face. Megatronus smiled and lifted his servo to give Laserbeak some good bot helm scritchies.
"Nice work, lil guy. You did a great job,"
He heard Soundwave snort in the distance. He didn't sit up to look at him because he didn't want to get yelled at by Ratchet.
"Yeah you did good too, I guess,"
Soundwave outright guffawed.
"How are you holding up, 'Wave?"
"I'm alive. Thank you, Ratchet,"
"Just doing my job,"
Megatronus chuckled slightly at Ratchet's humble mumbling.
"What happened to the other cons?"
"Well, with Gigawatt dead, the Vehicons and Eradicons were forced to surrender and will help us rebuild our home. Starscream, Knockout and Breakdown are being held in the brig,"
Megatronus sighed in relief. They really did it! They stopped the war once and for all!
"Now get some rest,"
"Yessir,"
Megatronus offlined his optics.
