You shut the car door the scenery was beautiful. You had never really been outside of the city, the peace and quiet was foreign to you. You follow the brothers close behind until the three are standing in front of the big ball of yarn.  "Yeah, you know. I don't know why, but I thought it'd be a lot bigger." Says Klaus. "Me too" you whisper to Klaus making him smile. "Seems pretty big to me." Five responds, now sitting on a bench in front of the giant ball of yarn. "Ehh." Klaus shrugs not convinced. "Here's the real question. How do you know your birth mother is in Pennsylvania?" Five asks Klaus, but keeps his gaze towards the art.

"Well, because I was on the ass end of a two-week bender, and I can't tell you the exact date because we were boofing Xanax and the whole business, but Amy Winehouse was at the top of the charts. So that puts us somewhere, where? In the mid to late aughts? I helped myself into Dad's office, looking for the key to his safe 'cause he had Pogo lock up all the stealables. But instead, I found a treasure trove of our family history told in expired check stubs. I was too messed up to, uh, do anything about it, too scared to look her up. But always in the back of my mind, I wondered why she sold me off for three grand. I mean, come on, she couldn't have held out for five? Six? Come on, Y/n haven't you ever wondered about your birth parents?"

"Not really, I mean mainly because dad forbid us from ever mentioning or asking about them. But I guess now that you bring it up, I'm wondering if I even look anything like my mom..." You pause looking at Klaus who nods.
"You see anything about my mother?" asks Five. "No. Sorry." Klaus tells him.

"Why now?" asks Five. "Well, duh. Dad disowns us. Grace isn't Grace. Ben's... gone. Now just felt like a good a time as any to find out who I could've been if I didn't grow up in this stupid family." Klaus explains. "Well, can you really call what we had a family?" Asks Five. "No. It's more like a—" Klaus tries to find the best way to put it. "Institute for Snarky Delinquents." Five adds making Klaus laugh. "And not a good one at that."

"But what is family? What is it? It's like some kind of giant... ball of twine that can never be untangled." "A giant ball of obligation I've been pushing uphill my entire life." "And the older you get, the bigger it gets. And the more you try and untangle it..." "You watch it roll down the hill..." They say in unison making you question why you were here in the first place.

"And what's the point? Hey, I'm glad you came along. You're a good brother. All right, all right. You say nice things about me now." says Klaus, making you smile as you look at them fondly. Made you miss your siblings a bit. "Let's go find your stupid mother." Five says taking your hand and leading you back to the car. Klaus' face lights up in excitement skipping behind the two. "Love you too, tiny dancer!"

After a few more hours of driving we finally pull up to what seemed an Amish community. 'This can't be the place can't it?' The car begins to slow down and comes to a full stop. Klaus and Five get off and so you follow their lead.
"Son of a bitch! Klaus is Amish." says Five. "This explains everything." says Klaus as the sound of cows mooing is heard from the distance. Meanwhile you look at the man questioningly. "How does this explain anything?" asks Five "Because look! Look at this place! This is everything my childhood was missing." Klaus begins to walk into the community. Meanwhile you were receiving weird stares from some of the Amish. If you had known this was on the agenda you wouldn't of worn you tank top. You made sure to stay close to Five.

"Hey, uh, Klaus?" "Yeah? Wait up a minute. Doppelgänger check. You feel anything strange? Uh, itching, sweats, gas, anything like that?" Five asks, you look at him confused. What? "No. No, I feel great. Apart from the old rash on the tackle, but what can you do?" Klaus responds. "All right, good luck." Five says. Letting Klaus walk in front of him. "What? Wait, you're not coming?" Klaus looks back at his brother confused. "This one you gotta do alone." Five says. Klaus sighs, "Alone? Yeah, okay. Yeah, I can do that, sure." He continues to make his way in.
