Invisible String | Five Hargreeves

𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧

Finally the four manage to find the elevator and get down to the lobby safely. Everyone else was already there Viktor and Allison were helping someone up.
"Klaus." Five mumbles approaching the group. "You look like hell." Viktor tells him. "Why don't you try killing a guardian?" Five snaps back. "We just did." He says. "So did we." Ben says from beside you.

"Klaus, I thought you were dead." Sloane says approaching the man. "Yes, yes, I'm alive and amazing, despite Dad's attempts to bash my brains in, but tearful reunions later. What you guys need to know right now is that Dad killed Luther. And he locked me out of the tunnel, and he rang that stupid bell!" Klaus explains. "I knew it." You whisper to yourself. Ben hears it looking over at you, the realization slapping him in the face.

"What's your plan, old man?" asks Five approaching Reginald. "We don't have time for this." He says. "You killed Luther!" yells Sloane. "I had no choice. You refused to come together as a team."He casually says. "And killing us is your answer?!" You yell at him. "All of your stupid myths and stories. There were never seven bells or Norsemen. You brought us here to die!" Ben yells. The three remaining sparrows ganging up on him.

"That's not so. Somewhere in this hotel is the key to resetting the universe. We just need to find the sigil!" He explains.
"I don't care about your sigil! None of us do." Sloane says, anger in her tone. "We barely survived that guardian with his stupid helmet and his sickle!" Diego yells. "The guardian we killed had an ax." Viktor says. "Ours had a sword." You say. "There's one left." Diego and Lila say in unison. "We have to go after it." Sloane says, still clutching her side. "Because that worked so well the first time." Ben snaps "You got any painkillers, or could you just please shut up?" Klaus mumbles. "Could you just keep it down to a dull roar? Do you think you could..."

"Hey, I found the sigil! It's on the-" Five yells from the balcony but he doesn't finish being interrupted by glass shattering from the ceiling. Another guardian emerges throwing his sickle towards Five. You hear Five scream in pain adrenaline rushes through your body. "Five!" you yell preparing to go after him. The guardian growls aiming his sickle at Klaus slicing his chest. You prepare to launch a blast at it but you weren't fast enough, as it throws a bomb in your direction sending you, Diego, and Lila flying. Diego is the first to stand landing some hits but is quickly shut down as the guardian smacks him to the ground. The guardian snarls turning to Sloane. "No!" you cough out pushing yourself up. Sloane managed to hold her ground and keep the guardian away. Metal creeks as she whimpered. Then before you could intervine, Luther appears behind the guardian. "Nobody hurts my wife you son of a bitch." He says lifting the guardian and throwing him over his head like a sack of potatoes. You smile before recollecting yourself and taking this opportunity to go to Five.

You rush up the stairs seeing Five desperately trying to aid his wound. You realize the sickle sliced his arm off, he was now missing his left arm just like his future self. "Shit, shit." you rush to his side ripping off your jacket and wrapping it around his arm. He groans in pain as you tighten it to prevent any more blood loss. "You're gonna be okay, you'll be fine." You shakily say mainly telling yourself that. "Come on." you take his remaining arm wrapping it around your shoulder and yours around his waist lifting him up. "The sigil is in the lobby floor. It's the stars." he shouts over the balcony. "Children, find a star on the sigil. Stand on it!" Reginald commands. You help Five make his way down the stairs. The guardian was now back on its feet. "Hurry! it's the only way to stop him!" You watch the stars on the floor light up as they stepped on them along with the sound of a machine starting up. "Number fives, one of you quickly." You let go of Five ready to walk up but he beats you to it with his teleportation. As soon as Five stands in the middle he screams as a bright blue light consumes them. The energy shoots at the guardian successfully taking him down as roaches scurry from its body.
