For the past two weeks, strange things had been happening in Horroria ever since the night of the séance and the terror-wood disaster. For example, Jungkook's parents had been acting strange, and so was Namjoon. All the flora and fauna in the kingdom had begun to wilt up and die, and a majority of the demons were beginning to revolt against the King and Queen and the vampires were going on a rampage killing humans left and right. Spirits evil and even peaceful were haunting and tormenting every inch they could find, and Jungkook was very confused as to why things had gone into such utter turmoil.

And while this was probably unrelated, there was even a new boy at school who had started flirting with Y/n, which Jungkook most certainly did not like. He acted as though Y/n didn't already belong to Jungkook, and that Jungkook didn't exist period. Which was massively frustrating considering Jungkook had been trying to court Y/n for basically all of her life at this point with still little to no luck. He also knew that he was supposed to be crowned king soon after his upcoming birthday, so if he still couldn't coerce you into marrying him by then, he was going to have a massive problem.

However, right now his main focuses were keeping that boy "Jacob" away from you, and figuring out the deal with this Asmodeus guy as well as whatever was causing the strange happenings in his home kingdom. His parents were not acting normal, and neither was Namjoon, so Jungkook knew it was up to him to solve things and figure out why. As the prince and future king of Horroria, it was his job to save his kingdom.

"Please just hear me out," Jungkook begs Y/n that afternoon, "I don't think this 'Jacob' guy is a good influence on you, and I get bad vibes from him! I can feel how shady he's being!"

Y/n sighs. "I'm sorry, Kook, okay? If this is because we haven't gotten to spend a lot of time together since the night Taylor died after the séance went wrong-"

"No!" Jungkook is quick to protest, "It's not because of that. It has nothing to do with that. I'm worried about my parents, and Horroria. You, especially haven't been yourself since the night of the séance and the disaster with the terror-wood, and I'm worried. You're spending an awful lot of time with that...guy and I have a fear that something's not right about him. Especially since we don't know what happened with the entity we accidentally summoned that night, I am very distressed that something bad is going to happen. Something bad is coming, and it's coming for us all. And I want to be ready when it does."

"I understand, but you know, it's so funny, I could actually swear that at one point during that night I thought I saw you murder Taylor and drink from her until she bled dry. But it's just so funny because you'd never do that!" Y/n continues to laugh.

"Uh...uh-huh. Yep, absolutely not!" Jungkook then laughs awkwardly, looking around as he remembers that that night he was the one ultimately responsible for Byeol Taylor's death, and that was one thing that night that Y/n did not hallucinate seeing. He did indeed drink Taylor's blood until she bled dry, and Jungkook was not ashamed to admit that she tasted delicious. Her blood was utterly saturated with every toxic bit of her, and it made for sweeter-tasting blood. "Still, will you please just promise me that you won't hang around Jacob as much until I find out where the hell that entity went after what happened that night?"
