I heard someone calling me and shaking my body lightly which made my eyes flutter. I was feeling was exhausted and my body was in no mood of waking up... opening my eyes I saw Vausda aunty sitting beside me with little worry on her face. She smiled lightly looking at me waking up... I slowly sat up adjusting the blanket on my lap.

When did I fell asleep?

"Thank god you're awake, you were sleeping from hours I was so scared." I heard vasuda aunty saying and frowned.

"Did I sleep that much?" I asked her.

"Hmm... it's afternoon, and you slept in the morning!"

"I dont know when did I fell asleep... I was feeling weak." I said rubbing my tired eyes.

She caressed my hairs looking at me worriedly. After some time of silence she spoke hesitatedly
"Siya.. did you talk to arjun?"

Hearing arjun's name the morning incident came into my mind...
Should I tell her about this? I think it's better if I keep quiet.

She continued breaking my thoughts. "How was he? Was he looking okay...?" She asked looking at me.

Why she is asking like that today only?

"Why? Did you not see him?" I asked being confused.

She shook her head." No.. I thought to give him some space, but I can't stop worrying."

" I dont understand! What happened?"

"You dont know?" She asked to which I nodded negatively.

She sighed."Tomorrow is his mother's death anniversary."

Oh!

"He doesn't talks to anyone during this time... he will be always alone, and Sometimes he would harm himself also!" She said with tears in her eyes which she failed to hide.

That means... this is reason he was behaving absently.

" You had gone to talk with him right? Did he shout at you?" She asked in concern placing her hand on the cheek.

"Dont mind him beta. I will ask sorry beha-"
I stopped her.

"No.. he didnt say anything, you please dont ask forgiveness." Holding her hand I assured her.

With a small smile she went out not before telling me come down freshening up.

"Its good that your Mother is not alive today... Or else she would have been so ashamed to have a son like you!"

My words rang in my mind... I didnt fail to see the hurt in his eyes which was masked by rudeness.

I closed my eyes feeling tears pricking. I shouldn't have said that words to him.
