•AUTHOR'S POV•

Siya's sleep broke in the middle of the night. Not feeling sleepy any more she sat up and saw the other side of the bed empty. She clearly remember Arjun came into the room and slept beside her but where did he go now. Siya went out to the kitchen, turning the lights on she opened the fridge hoping that she will find something to eat at this hour.

Her eyes delighted seeing the cake placed there. She took it out and taking the spoon she sat down on the chair and started eating it quickly.

"Siya.. What are you doing here. At this time."

She got still hearing the voice from back. The spoon was still in her mouth. She frowned feeling like a thief for getting caught.

Removing the spoon from her mouth she turned and saw karthik. She smiled seeing him after months.

Karthik went near her and saw the unfinished cake in her hand and understood for what she had came here.

"Karthik... how are you?" Siya asked with a smile.

Karthik smiled back at her. "I am good. What about you, I heard what happened. You are okay right?" He asked with concern.

Siya nodded her head and continued thier talks while savoring her cake.

Karthik thought to tease her a little and pulled her cake towards himself making siya's eyes widened.

"Are you going to finish this whole cake by yourself? Let me help a little." He said.

"No! Stop. That's mine.'' Siya shouted at him and pulled the cake back to herself and took a bite.

"What do you mean by help? You think I cant finish this... I am still hungry." Siya said while feeling her mouth again fearing he will snatch it from her.

Her cravings got best of her tonight.

"You must be sleeping by this time but see you.. you are eating like you are hungry for  months." Karthik said.

Siya chose to ignore his bickerings and concentrated on enjoying her food.

After fighting a lot with her he got just a spoon of cake.

Wishing her night he went back to his room and siya was not satisfied yet. But she didnt find anything of her interest, so taking the glass of banana milkshake she left to her room.

She wanted to ask arjun about Anjali. Siya wanted to talk with and ask sorry.
She fully realised what she must have gone through that day. She never had courage to go and properly apologize to her, now she wants to realise the burden of her guilt forever.

she was ready to sleep when Arjun entered in. Seeing siya sitting awake he asked.

"Why are you awake? Is there any problem?"

Siya nodded her head negatively.

"Where were you gone?"

Arjun tensed hearing her. He tried to form a answer.
