𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯 :

All of the signs are there, my period is a week late, I've been vomiting non-stop. I don't want to admit it but I'm sure it is what I think it is. Joe's away this week as he's filming which isn't a bad thing. I don't know what his reacting would be to this kind of situation. Suddenly, Panic washed over me, Joe and I have been so careful. I've been on birth control. On the other hand, we stopped using condoms ages ago, fuck.

I decided to call one of my closest friends Selena, she is always there for me when I need her the most, I am forever thankful to be gifted with such a pure and beautiful friendship. I waited for her to answer, I really need her right now, I'm so confused and panicked.

"Hey Tay" Selena answered. "Hey" I replied, "Is everything ok?" She asked, picking up on the stress in my voice. "Not really" I started. I explained everything, and ended the call with Selena getting into her car, she's going to the store to pick up some tests. I couldn't help but worry the paps will see her, no they wouldn't, no it's fine. Maybe I'm stressing so much, that's why I'm late, no. I just don't know.

Just half an hour later, Selena arrived at my apartment. We went into the kitchen. Selena put her shopping bag down and got the tests out.

"I got a few brands, for the best result" she spoke. "I can't believe this, Joe and I are so fucking careful" I replied, I could feel tears in the corner of my eyes.

"Tay, it's ok, you might not even be pregnant" Selena came over and gave me a hug, "I don't know" I replied "I don't know what I would do without you" I continued. Selena pulled away and smiled at me, "Same here Tay" She replied and gave me another hug.

"Ok all you need to do is go have pee on the sticks and then wait a few minutes" Selena said handing me the boxes, "I got five, it's better to be safe than sorry" She continued.

"Ok time is up" Selena spoke referring the tests would be ready to show results. "Are you ready?" She asked, "Just about" I said nervously, looking at the five small pieces of plastic lying face down on the bathroom counter.

"Let's turn them over all at once" Selena spoke, "Yeah ok" I said, my heart was pounding in my chest. We counted from five to one and we turned them over, and all five came back positive. 

Selena and I just looked at each other, in shock, "Oh my god" Selena smiled, "I'm going to be a mother" I smiled back as we hugged and squealed

I knew this is what I wanted.
