Sabre is then dropped off somewhere. He groans and looked up. He saw the sky. He gasped. "What?" He whispers. He noticed he had landed in snow again. He looked around confused. But then he heard footsteps. Sabre looks over and gasps. Hypno was there. "H-Hypno?" Sabre says. Hypno looks over and gasps. "Sabre?" He says. Sabre slowly sat up. Hypno looked shocked. "G-Guys! Get over here! It's Sabre!" He shouts. The Great One, Twisted, M and Assistant then run over. They all gasped. "Sabre?! You're alive?!" Twisted exclaims. He looked a bit scared still. Sabre stared at them. "What happened?" He asks. "But- We saw you. The First Curse absorbed your life force. How are you alive?!" The Great One asks. Sabre slowly stood up. "I don't know. But that doesn't matter right now. What matters is, we got a big problem." He says. M stares at him confused. Sabre sighs. "I was with Blue. She and I had ended up somewhere after we died. I don't exactly know where but I think something happened to our souls because we were sent somewhere else other than the afterlife. This guy named Hex kept sending me to different worlds and I think he's also captured a bunch of people. We got to stop him." He says. "Hex?" Hypno asks. "I don't know where he came from. But I know we need to stop him. He killed Blue." Sabre says. Assistant gasped. "I don't know how to get back though. Where's Shadow?" Sabre asks. M, Twisted, Hypno, Assistant and The Great One look at each other sadly. Sabre stared at them. The Great One sighs. "Shadow died a little while ago. The power Lucian gave him was too much for him and he didn't have much time left." He says. Sabre looked shocked. "Oh..." He says. He sighed. "I... I'm sorry." He says. M looked down sadly. He had tears in his eye. The Great One touched his shoulder. Sabre sighs. "There's got to be some way we can get back to where Hex is." He says. "We've never even heard of anyone named Hex. I don't know how we would be able to find him." Twisted Rainbow says. The Great One nods. "That's true." He says. Sabre sighs. They all stared at him sadly. "So, what do we do?" Hypno asks. Sabre shrugs. But then he gasps. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a key. "I picked this up when I was being sent to different places. It opened the cells in the place Hex was at." He says. M walked over and looked at the key. Sabre sighs. "Is there anyone here who could help us get to where Hex is?" He asks. The Great One thought for a moment. "Well, there is one person." He says. Sabre looked at him. "Who?" He asks. The Great One gestured for them to follow him. They all followed him.
The Great One lead them to a house close by to where Sam's village once was. He opened the door. Sabre looked in and gasped. There was someone in there looking through potions. The person didn't look like a Steve. They had small horns on their head, wings on their back, a long tail and glowing yellow eyes. They were wearing a purple cloak over a grey shirt and black pants. The Great One walked over to the person and tapped on their shoulder. They looked at him. "Oh hey Great One." They said. Their voice was a bit high but was slightly distorted. "Who is that?" Sabre asks Hypno. "That's Mason. He's a multiverse guardian." Hypno says. Mason looked at Sabre and gasped. He flew over to him. Sabre backed away a bit. "Sabre?" Mason says. "Long story. Mason, we need your help." The Great One says. Mason looked at him. "With what?" He asks. "We need your help finding this Steve named Hex." Sabre says. Mason gasped. "Hex?" He says. Sabre stared at him. "Do you know him?" He asks. Mason flew over to a bookshelf and grabbed a book from it. The book looked old and was dusty. Mason set the book on a table and blew the dust off of it. He opened it and started looking through the pages. After a moment, Mason stopped on a page. "Here it is." He says. Sabre looks at the page. It was a page talking about The Multiverse Watchers. "Wait. Why are you looking at that page?" Sabre asks. Mason sighs. "You all know the Multiverse watchers as Gods who do what they can to keep the Multiverse in check." He says. "Yeah. Lucian said he was one." Hypno says. Mason nods. "Well, when they were all created. There were 10 Multiverse Watchers. But the only ones who were known are Lucian and Sky. They all created me and the other Multiverse guardians. But I recently realized that after Lucian died, there were only eight left." He says looking down, "Or at least I thought so." "What do you mean?" Hypno asks. "Well, the only thing I can say is... Hex is known as the Lost Multiverse Watcher." Mason says. Sabre gasps. He slams his fist down on the table. "Wait! So you're saying Hex is related to Lucian?" He asks. Mason got a bit startled but he sighed and nodded. "We knew Lucian had died but we never figured out what happened to Hex. But recently, we found out from the remaining Multiverse Watchers that people have been seeing him in other places. But when one of the Multiverse Guardians were sent to the world he was in, he wasn't there anymore. But when you said you and Blue saw him, I knew something has to be wrong." He explains. They all looked shocked. "Well, he killed Blue though, Mason." Sabre says. Mason stares at the ground. "That might explain the people going missing from other worlds." He says. Sabre sighs and shook his head to try and keep from crying. "Me and Blue were in this area that was like a prison. But right after we reunited, Hex shot her and shut her down." Sabre says. Assistant looks down. "Well, do you know how we could find him?" Hypno asks. Mason nods. "But it would take up a lot of my energy to give you something to help him find it. I also have a gadget that can help you travel to other worlds." He says. "Would you be okay?" Twisted Rainbow asks. Mason nods. "I'd be fine. I'll just be exhausted after." He says. He stood up and walked over to another shelf. He grabbed a paper and set it on the table. Then he put his hand on the center of the paper. Mason's hand started glowing and the light flashed over the paper and a map all of a sudden appeared on the paper. Mason almost fell back. Sabre gasps. Mason grabs the table and pulled himself back up. "I'm okay. Don't worry." He says. He grabs the map and hands it to Sabre. Sabre looked at it. He looked at Mason. "How do you know this is where he is?" He asks him. Mason sighs. "I tracked the area where you and Blue last were and I found Hex so I put a tracker on him. That map should show you where he is at all times." He says. Sabre looks at the map and sighs. "Alright." He says. He looks at Mason. "Thank you." He says. Mason nods. "You're welcome." He says. He looks up at a top shelf. He groans and slowly flies up and grabs an object off of it. It was a dark crystal. He handed it to Sabre. "You can use this to travel to multiple worlds just in case he goes to another world." He says. Sabre nods. "Thank you Mason." He says. Mason bows. "No problem." He says. Sabre smiles and bows back. "Good luck out there." Mason says. He walks off. Sabre, M, Twisted Rainbow, Hypno, Assistant and The Great One left.
Sabre, M, Twisted Rainbow, Hypno, The Great One and Assistant went out to the fields. Snow was everywhere. "So... Where exactly are we headed?" Hypno asks. They all stopped. "Wherever Hex is. Hopefully we can find him fast." Sabre says. The Great One looked around for a moment then he started running around the snow. "You kept that map he gave you, right?" Twisted Rainbow asks. Sabre nods and shows it. "I have it. Don't worry." He says. "Good." Twisted Rainbow says. M nods. Sabre sighs. "I just hope we can figure out how to defeat him." He says. M signs, "We'll figure it out. You still have the key right?" Sabre nods. "I have it just in case we need it." He says. M sighs of relief. "We should better continue moving before it gets late." Hypno says. Sabre nods. They started walking again. The Great One noticed and followed. But while they we're talking, he had made a heart in the snow surrounding all their footprints.
