Chapter 14

Sabre glared at Hex. Hex looked around for a moment. Then he looked back at Sabre. "What's the point of you even continuing to fight, Sabre?!You're dead! There's nothing you can do anymore after this!" He shouts. Sabre didn't say anything. He just kept glaring at Hex. He barely moved. Hex growls. "Why aren't you saying anything, you green bastard?!" He shouts. Sabre still didn't say a thing. Hex roars then rushes at Sabre. Sabre just took a step out of the way and Hex ran right past him. Hex turned around and growled at him. Sabre quickly fought back. Hex tried to stab Sabre with the energy blade but failed. Sabre grabbed Hex's arm and pulled him to the ground.  Then he punched Hex in the face. Hex gasped. He grabbed Sabre's wrists and pushed him to the ground. Sabre grunted in pain. Hex raised his energy blade. "There has to be something left to fight for, isn't that right!?" Hex shouted. Sabre said nothing. Hex then started laughing darkly. "You have nothing." He says. He brought the energy blade down. Sabre quickly rolled out of the way and kicked Hex's ankle. Hex roared out and fell to the ground. Sabre got back up. He kicked Hex in the head. Hex growled and got back up. Sabre punched Hex in the chest. Hex flew back into a tree. Sabre walked over to him. Hex looked up at him and growled. Sabre noticed the energy blade starting to crackle and spark some. Hex tried to stab Sabre but Sabre dodged the blade.  Hex snarled and slammed the energy blade against the ground. A massive explosion happened. The force shook Sabre back and made him fall.

M, Twisted Rainbow, Hypno and Assistant were shaken by the explosion. M got up and looked over at the forest worriedly. "What the hell happened?" Twisted Rainbow asks. M shrugs.

Sabre slowly sat up. Hex was a few feet away from him. Part of the area was on fire now. Hex growled when he saw Sabre awake. He ran over and tried to stab him. Sabre gasped and quickly jumped out of the way.  Hex growled. "Damnit!" He yelled. Sabre glared at Hex. Hex growled and charged at him. Sabre quickly grabbed Hex's arm. Hex growled at him. Sabre grabbed Hex and slammed him down onto the ground. Hex growls and kicks him in the stomach. Hex stood up. He roared and charged at Sabre with his energy blade raised. Sabre noticed that. He gasps. Hex then tries to stab Sabre. Sabre growls. He grabs the energy blade. He cries out in pain after his hand is burned by the blade. But he ignores the pain and quickly turns it around and stabs Hex with it. Hex screams. He fell back onto the ground. The energy blade being plunged into his stomach. Sabre grabbed his own hand trying to stop it from bleeding or the skin melting off. Hex tried to pull the energy blade out of his stomach. Sabre walked over and put his foot on Hex's hand and forced the blade to go further in. Hex screeched in pain. Sabre glared at him. Hex kept screeching out in pain. He started choking on his own blood. Sabre watched him. Hex looked up at him. Sabre kept his foot on Hex's hand to keep him from trying to pull the blade out. Hex kept coughing and choking on blood. Sabre eventually pushed it as far as he could go. Hex cried out in pain. Sabre eventually moved his foot off the blade. Hex was breathing heavily and still coughing up his blood. Sabre stared at him. The skin on Sabre's hand was starting to melt off but he didn't really care. Hex lied there on the ground gasping for air while he was bleeding out and choking on his own blood as he was being destroyed from the inside out. Sabre slowly walked around Hex and knelt down beside him. Hex coughs and looks at him. Sabre stared at him. Hex was still gasping for air. He growled and tried to scratch Sabre but Sabre didn't even have to move because Hex could barely move his arm anymore. Hex growls. Sabre stared at him. He reached into Hex's pocket and pulled out an old badge. Sabre looked at it and noticed the symbol on it was a dragon. Hex gasps. Sabre looks at Hex. "Whatever happened to your title?" Sabre asks in a whisper. He could barely talk now. Hex coughs. He tried to speak up but couldn't. There was too much blood caught in his throat and most of his organs had already been destroyed. Sabre took a moment but then he realized there were tears streaming down Hex's face. Hex couldn't pull his own energy blade out of his body and he couldn't stop the blade from destroying his body completely. The blade was melting his organs and he had no way to stop it. Sabre stared at him for a moment. Then he reached over and put his hand on Hex's chest. Hex flinched. He looked up at Sabre. Sabre stared at him. He kept his hand on Hex's chest. Hex looked down. He finally just accepted his death. He fell back and stared at the sky for a moment. "Lucian..." He whispers. Then he finally took his last breath and died. Sabre stared at him for a moment. He sighed and stood up. He looked at Hex's badge again. It was in a red color with a metal dragon on the front. Sabre stared at it for a while. He sighed and walked off.
